Needs an extension to drain for a drain hose.
A definite must buy item if you have a Kumaa water heater which is shipped without the anodes. My only gripe is that there is no extension to the drain to allow connection if a drain hose. I’ve had to buy a 1/4” needle valve to replace the drain valve in the anode so I can now drain the tank without water go)no all over the place.

Great OEM Replacement
Great product, swapped in for the original rod super easy. Now Im able to drain my tank with no tools, just a quick twist of the drain, took me a second to realise the drain is reverse threaded though!

Works as it is designed to
This is my second one for this heater. Replace it every year. Removed the little drain valve and replaced with 1/4 pip thread adaptors to accommodate a 3/8 service valve with added vynal tubing so I can drain the heater without water going everywhere.
