Never Letting Go: Heal Grief with Help from the Other Side

Wow. That's all I can say. I had to wait all this time until I could write this review. My first reading was scheduled a month earlier but was postponed! So I had to wait another month. I figured it was all to the good so I wasn't too unhappy. The reading really wasn't for me, it was for my husband. His son died in a car accident and there was never a chance to say goodbye or closure there. They never knew for sure what happened. Mark Anthony recommends you read his book  Evidence of Eternity: Communicating with Spirits for Proof of the Afterlife  before you schedule a reading, which he read. I didn't tell him until the day of the reading that it was going to happen. Mark tells you ahead of time to make sure that you have all the dates of that you might need - birth, death, birthday, etc. on hand.I have had a physic reading before so I was prepared for what was going to happen. My husband was not. He was very apprehensive going into it. I only gave him an hour to prepare so that was my fault but I didn't want him worrying about it all day. I let Mark know about that and I guess that is why Mark opened up the reading with my Mother coming in and easing my Husband into how the reading was going to go. Mark got my Mother right off. And then - my Husband's son came through in a big way and took over the reading.I had the Kleenex out and we needed it. There was some major healing done on both sides tonight. I just can't describe the all the personal information that came through that no one would know - I mean - you just can't Google this stuff. Rabbits? There was always a question of if it was an accident or not and that was definitely cleared up tonight. He described how it all happened. And that was such a major relief for my husband. So so much healing of all the things that should have been said or could have been done. It could not have happened without Mark Anthony tonight.This was just a precious moment. I know - there are a lot of skeptical people out there but I just wanted to say I actually HAD a reading with Mark and he was the REAL DEAL. Right now, there were a couple of points (and this is JUST after the reading mind you) that doesn't click with us. But for the most part? He got it right. My Mother did give me a Pearl Necklace. Who knew that? My husband didn't. I had never shown it to him because it was worth about $5.00. Mark knew that. That was about the only thing I have of my Mother's and I had forgotten about it.So. I'm not here to encourage you to run off to spend you $$ to get a reading. I had just Googled readings with MA reviews and didn't see any. It's not like the Theresa Caputo Long Island Medium and everybody has an opinion on her readings! Or John Edwards. I will not give an opinion on either of these right now - we are talking about Mark Anthony. I just know what I experienced with him. He was very good for us. Not so much dates, not names, but experiences. He was able to bring up things that you hadn't thought about in a long time and connect it you. I hadn't thought about those pearls in....10 or 15 years. And then there they were.He opened up the reading with - big dogs. What is this about big dogs? And the letter M? My daughter M was just here last week and let me babysit her big dogs. So go figure.My Husband was wiped out after the reading. Emotionally it took everything out of him. It was an hour reading. Mark gave all he had. He wanted to make sure we were satisfied with what we received.There was more, so much more but that's just the high lights. The rest is personal.

Mark Anthony is a lawyer as well as a psychic medium, and his training shows in his book. His writing style is superior to that of many other psychic mediums who write books about their work. He describes his readings as showing a high degree of accuracy. Having read the book, I was eager to see visual evidence of Anthony in action. I watched his videos on youtube and was very impressed. In one video, entitled "Forgive My Murderers," Anthony reads two people who turn out to be parents of a son who was tortured to death by kidnappers. Anthony tells them that their son quotes to them Jesus' words from the cross, "Forgive them for they know not what they do." It was very poignant to watch this video one week after the Sandy Hook shootings.In addition to being a better writer than many other mediums, Anthony is different in his willingness to write about the dark side. Many New Age believers deny the existence of evil or hell. Anthony speaks several times in his book about encountering individuals who are exploitative and destructive. One is a (living) gigolo who siphons funds from a naive widow. Another is a (dead) child rapist and murderer.The gigolo, Anthony reports, is cold, calculating, and artificial. As soon as the widow leaves the room, he adopts a different personality in a one-on-one conversation with Anthony. "I never felt any emotion from him. He felt like an empty shell." This resonates with one definition of evil: the absence of God. "I don't do guilt," this "icy, malevolent, predatory sociopath" tells Anthony. Guilt is normal in normal people when we do bad things. The absence of guilt is not a New Age blessing. It's the diagnostic mark of a sociopath. Is being an evil person a question of choice, the result of free will, or is it the inevitable result of chemical imbalance? Anthony doesn't address that question, but he does report that sociopaths "immerse themselves in pools of negative energy."The child killer's soul, Anthony reports, is not in the light. "I feel despicable," Anthony writes, when attempting to convey how the child killer's soul made him feel. "The spirit feels hollow" -again - evil as the absence of God. Channeling the child killer's spirit, Anthony wrote, made him feel a desire "to remove slime" from his body. "He's on the other side, but he's not in the light...I see an image of an empty but filthy garbage can. That's how he sees himself...this spirit fills me with revulsion...he is reflecting on everything he put you and your family through...he is in a hollow and distant place, devoid of the Light, in order to reflect on the horrors he inflicted on so many people...perhaps he will ascend ... only God has the power to make that decision" Anthony reports. I would conclude that the child killer is in hell, a place many choose to deny.There is a bright side to the evil Anthony encounters. People like Vicki Rios-Martinez, the mother of the murdered child, Junny Rios-Martinez. In her work to protect children, Vicki is, Anthony reports, a living saint.I've focused on the two dark passages in the book only because most other psychics don't tend to focus on the dark side in their books. Most of Anthony's book is upbeat and heartwarming. It's well written and chock full of evidence of the continuance of the spirit after physical death.

Didn't find this book helpful at all. I'm still looking for a book which actually helps with dealing with grief.

Very good. A friendly, understanding of the life after and how wonderful it is to know this and to know that the communication is made with Love.

the best book I have read so far in this field. Looking forward to his new one in March. x

I lost my husband and this help me understand of lotta things I highly recommend this book it’s a good book to read

This book is WELL worth reading, for anyone who has lost a loved one and/or "spiritual truth" -seekers. Mark Anthony's vast practical experience speaks for itself. Also, the information is given in a practical, clear style (don't worry about "hooshy-wooshy esoteeerics" here...)- in a very human and also entertaining way. Recommended.
