HIMALAYA DermaCare, 120 CT

I have psoriatic arthritis and have dealt with psoriatic plaque and rashes on my body for a number of years. I see a dermatologist for treatment and have been given numerous ointments to try to get it all under control. At last count I had over half a dozen ointments to use..."Use this one in the morning on M-F, Use this one in the afternoon...use this other one on weekends in the morning, and this other one in the afternoon....Use this one here and use this one there....and use this one when things get REALLY bad..." Quite a complicated set of instructions. The truth of the matter is, all of these ointments didn't give me relief or clear my rashes...sure, sometimes the psoriatic plaque would flake away to an extent but it would come right back. I remember the dermatologist telling me we would NEVER get the rashes and plaque to go away completely...the goal was to just try and keep them under control....I knew I had to try SOMETHING...I was frustrated...tired of dealing with the rashes, flaking, etc..., as many with psoriasis do, I would cover my plaque/rashes so as to not draw attention to them. When people would see my knees they would ask what was wrong with them.... I use a couple of other Himalaya Care products and came across Derma Care while ordering another product...I thought it would be worth a try so I bought a bottle and then another bottle the following month. Well...about a month and a half to two months later, I noticed the plaque was going away and nagging rashes I've dealt with for years were disappearing....I took an accounting to determine what I had changed and the only thing I had changed was that I started using DermaCare (and had actually stopped using all of the ointments). I've been on this product for about six months now and have NO visible psoriatic plaque and NO psoriatic rashes. Based upon what my dermatologist had told me I never thought I'd get here...I guess I would never get here using all the ointments, etc...but they didn't know about DermaCare. I intend to take a bottle to show my Doctor next time I visit. Bottom line...this is a fantastic product which has worked well for me. It has removed a major frustration from my life...the incessant rashes, plaque and itching which are a part of the life of someone with psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis. Note that I did read on some online reviews that it takes a couple of months for it to start working and I found this to be the case for me...I did not see results for about a month and a half. So if you try it, don't give up after a month...give it a little time. So if you deal with psoriais or skin issues I would highly recommend you give DermaCare a try. It may not work as well for you as it did for me but at just over $10 a bottle (BuyHerbs @ Amazon seems to have the best price I've found) it is worth giving a try.

I've been looking for a skin cleanser herbal product to help me for years. I used to use a product from GTL Herbal Solutions in California called Healthy Skin that was based on an old TCM recipe, however, the company got closed down as the owner was charged with acting as a doctor without a license. It was a real shame as the product worked to reduce eczema, hives and redness. It was the only product I could find that did. Sam Ang (the owner of GTL) helped me cure my eczema by using the formula and eliminating food proteins in my diet that caused eczema (dairy, egg, soy, bean). I then reintroduced them one-by-one over time and sure enough I was fine. However, all this went terrible once I couldn't get the product anymore. Since that time in around 2006 to 2012 I really suffered with bad skin, intestinal problems and having to experiment with lots of different inferior replacement products. I probably tried over a 100 different products in different combinations. After deciding as a new year's resolution for 2012 to not give up hope and to tackle my problems head on by keeping a detailed log of products used, food eaten, exercise and other health related issues, I stumbled across this product. I've been trying new products and altering what I take as a kind of experiment by changing one variable at a time maybe weekly or even every couple of days. I put up with some terrible days of bad skin and mood swings but always thought I might discover a product that works. Anyhow, I've been using this now for about 10 days along with a probiotic (3lac) and one x Robert's Formula, vitamin C with zinc, aloe vera colon cleanse and starflower oil. I have had IBS and mild eczema since 1999. So far, the product has given me much clearer skin and I feel much better. I've even been eating all foods, including notoriously bad food for eczema sufferers such as dairy, soy and prawns. Of course, with illness you should always monitor what happens daily and try to be as healthy as possible. My next goal is to try and reduce the other products I use daily. I think I should be able to just use this product and starflower oil, vitamin C + zinc to keep my bowels clear and my skin looking healthy. Used these for better skin, but couldn’t find really visible difference after using these. So 3 star

Would like my money back on this item but there are no returns. I use the neem regularly for my skin so, I thought I would try this blend. Big mistake on my part! This messed with my kidneys or something and I only took half the recommended dose. I felt like I had to urinate all the time but, I didn't need to.
