Good quality for the price !
I’m super satisfied by how sturdy these are for the price point. I’m using some of them to propagate cuttings over the fall/winter and I appreciate how deep they are. I do wish that they included a top for seed germination, but for the purposes of stem cuttings, this works great !

This will definitely get the job done
The plugs are all pretty firm except one with a minor defect, however, this product will definitely hold up. An added bonus that is that it isn’t super long like most trays so less chance of snapping in half while carrying around and you can fit more on a shelf or rack.

Adequate
They’re ok - but no lid, drainage hole is quite large, so they drain rapidly, and are a nightmare to get the seedlings out of - basically you have to destroy them or risk damaging your seedlings. Good price though.

Nice growing trays
I am quite pleased with the sturdiness of these growing trays. They are solid, easy to use, and feel as though they will last several seasons. Seedlings have been easy to remove as well. Overall great little trays.

Nice set of seed starting trays
These 54 cell seed starting trays should work out quite well. The trays measure approximately 14 1/2" x 11" (different than product page listing). The trays arrived tightly packed and took time and patience to finally separate them. The trays are made of stiff, non-flexing plastic and may crack at the point of impact if you drop them. The wide top rim is great, making it easy to grip onto the trays to move them. You can lift the soil filled tray with one hand and it won't flex or flop. The drainage holes are surprisingly large - 1/2". Although larger than I care for, they will make it easier to push the seedling out with my little finger. I really like the size of the seed cells. The individual seed cells measure 1x1" on the bottom and approximately 1 1/2" square on the top. Approximate depth is 2 3/4". (My measurements differ from product listing.) The tapered walls are pliable enough to loosen the seedling but the plastic tends to permanently crinkle. In the past when using trays this size, I found it easier to group the different seeds I sow by germination rate. My goal is to have the different plants all pop up about the same time and be ready to transplant at the same time.Happy gardening!

Sturdy quality, fits those 10X14 trays
These are sturdy trays, it's 54 cells all in one piece. Drainage is one large hole at the bottom. That will also be how you poke out your seedlings using a dowel or similar item. These don't have flex to push them out that way, so you will need a dowel. But, these will last years instead of falling apart the second season you use them. The measurements of these sound too large for the trays, but keep in mind that they taper a bit. Bottom measurment of these is just shy of 13.5 by 10 inches.Good purchase for seed starting if you need something smaller than the 1020 trays.
