I lost my ice anchor tool the last time on the ice so I picked this up as the replacement. 4 anchors, the tool to attach to drill, and an adapter to quarter inch if your drill can't accept the larger diameter tool. The anchors are a little thin but they went in smooth and held all day. No issues with the tool. Didn't use the adapter as my drill can accept the tool. Beats spinning them in by hand, that's for sure!

Very strong! The tools are steel and are holding up very well. THe anchors are sharp and go in the ice easily. A very nice way to upgrade the tie downs for the ice hut. No complaints at all. Definitely worth the price!!

Over all this worked fine. Fair price for a useful item. I only noticed really a few things that could be better but are not critical. As an ice anchor for strap tiedowns the ice anchor adaptor, and ice anchors worked basically perfectly. The ice anchor adapter I was sent, which may not be the same for everyone had a little off center bit that goes into the drill chuck. That created a little wobble in the ice anchor adapter, but did not effect the purpose. Even and steady pressure and the ice anchors went right into the ice. The ice anchor adapter also fit onto other brand named ice anchors which is a plus. The other reducing adapter for smaller drill chucks was straight and true, but fit onto the ice anchor adapter a little loosely. It required another hand to hold the two together. I ended up wrapping a thin layer of tape around it so I would have another free hand. The ice anchors that go into the ice are great for tie downs, but not as great for tents or shanties. It could work but the reason I say this is because for typical tent ice anchors, they have sort of like a metal washer I would say. Welded to the ice anchor. This feature makes the tent lie completely flat to the ice, preventing wind from getting in as much. Not really a big issue either. With these one just has to screw them into the ice a little more. Overall it is a good idea, fair price, and I would recommend these. One of those little items that saves time and frustration. Easy in easy and out with these.

This is the perfect tool for cranking in ice anchors. The kit comes with an 11mm adapter if your drills chuck won't open large enough (my old DeWalt drill would not but my new one would) so I won't be using the adapter but it's good to know it's there as a backup. Overall this kit works great, firm solid steel and the anchors aren't all that bad either. Well worth the money.

I winter camp and ice fish, these work great for securing you ice hut or a tent in winter. Commute with the drill attachment for easy install.

I got this tool and anchors for my ice hut when I go ice fishing. It seems that I lose at least one anchor on each outing...The tool itself is wonderful! It almost deserves 5 stars by itself. It is cleverly designed to fit over a variety of ice anchor sizes (both thickness and length) holding them while you drill them into the ice. A small variety of anchor sizes is shown in the photo. This tool is so much easier than screwing them by hand. The tool itself doesn’t fit in my ¼” drive drill, but it includes an adapter for it. This does make the process a little more wobbly, but it is still better than the hard way.The anchors themselves, on the other hand, leave a little to be desired. The descriptions do indicate that they are 6.5” long, but it is not clear that this is actually on the short side and that they are rather skinny. This might not matter for some, but where I ice fish, there is often a foot or more of crusty snow on the lake. It is not uncommon to anchor in that snow. For this you need a thicker and longer anchor, like the larger one shown in the photo. I have not drilled these anchors into glare ice, but think the flattened threads would not drill or hold as well. For this I would give the anchors only 3 or 4 stars.The description title mentions nylon straps to hold to the tent. I cannot find them. I do not know if I just misplaced them, or if they were just missing, or if the title was incorrect/out-of-date. I think they may be are supposed to be included in a different purchase option and the title should fixed. In my case, the tent walls have the straps attached, so this is a non-issue.All in all, I think the tool and adapter is worth the price. Just not perfect.Edit: I forgot to attach the photos.
