I use an on-the-roof directional digital antenna. I bought this thinking that it would boost the signal as it claims 850 mile range which is an outright lie. When I found that it was just a digital antenna with no ability to boost my current antenna I did not hook it up at first. This morning we disconnected our antenna and installed this piece of junk. We went from getting 8 or 10 channels to three. I will say that the three had a nice picture quality. My old antenna claimed a 350 mile range and outperformed this antenna hands down. When I received this in the mail and unboxed it, I saw that it had a used appearance as if it had already been returned. Now I see why. This is junk, save your money and buy something that actually works. These guys are selling garbage.

Installation was a snap but I was disappointed in its performance. It supposed to be omnidirectional but it failed miserably. What channels it found were clear but I could not get the three main local channels at the same time. I contacted the seller before my purchase but got no response. It’s going back.

I originally purchased this antenna to replace a flat antenna that I was using. I picked it because it mounts a bit better and has a stated range that is slightly better than the previous antenna (although the range listed isn't really accurate on any of these antennas).I received the product and upon looking at the packaging, noticed that what is listed here on the page and the packaging do not quite align, but it wasn't too much of a variation to be of notice. Getting it installed and setup was easy enough (just plug everything in). One thing that I noticed is that the amplifier requires 5V/2A so be mindful of that when you are setting it up. However, this is where everything pretty much falls apart and ends.After getting everything setup, I immediately noticed that a channel scan returned zero results. With my previous antenna, I get 68 channels (the furthest tower from me is 45m away). With this one, literally zero. So, I started moving the antenna around trying to get a signal for anything and no matter what orientation, nothing. So, as a final thought, I decided to move the antenna closer to a window. Upon moving the antenna closer to a window, I started picking up channels. This initially made no sense to me because the window was only a few feet away and, technically, points in the opposite direction from the transmission antennas (they are south of me and the antenna was in the window facing north). But, I then thought about the fact that in order to put the antenna there, I needed to unwrap the cable.So, to test, I wrapped the cable back up and sure enough, no channels. Unwrapped the cable and I can get channels. This told me that the antenna is actually the cable, not the actual "antenna." This poses a huge issue for me because now, it affects how clean of an install you can get and to get good reception, I literally have to have the cable strung across the room. The entire point of my purchase was so that I can have a cleaner look versus the flat antenna I had (since it can't stand on a shelf or desk). This antenna makes that worse.Overall, returning for a refund and getting something else.

We were very surprised by the number of channels we were able to get with this TV antenna. We bought this to use when our satellite goes out. It worked as advertised!

I guess once the weather clears up I'll see exactly how far away it picks up channels. So far I have had to scan several times a month and still only get 23 channels but can not pick up any of the high channels. So we'll see

Followed all the steps and it would only pick up a few stations. Those that it did pick up would digitize in and out and not worth watching. My location is about 25 miles from Tampa. The antenna would not pick up any of the local stations I.e. ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX. Very disappointed with the results so the antenna was returned.

Finally cut the cable cord so purchased this antenna based on its good reviews. The range is nowhere near what is listed. Don't get all of my local NBC, Fox, CBS, or ABC channels when it rains or is cloudy out, and even on clear days these channels are hit or miss. The antenna is setup inside a window ledge up high per the instructions. Bought a cheaper RCA brand for the bedroom and it works so much better. Do not recommend this antenna.
