These pieces are double-walled and made beautifully, just like a factory clamp that would join downpipes with a rear section exhaust system. They are made to fit a standard SAE size 2.5" exhaust system so if you are trying to mate metric pipes, don't use these. We are a 15-year Audi/Porsche/VW shop and these are EXACTLY like the German sleeves that come on all the cars we see everyday but they are heavier duty and are made for SAE 2.5" and not metric. They are very beautiful pieces and work absolutely perfectly. Don't listen to the kooks leaving poor reviews. They don't know what they're doing and aren't matching pipe diameters properly. These are great pieces. Quite frankly, the best we've ever seen in the SAE market. Period.
