Decent budget set at a good price - watch that the tips of the fork may be a little pointy.
The Hampton Forge basics Brookdale Satin is a good budget flatware set. The design is a minimal band and satin finish that can blend in with most daily meals. The flatware does not stand out and lets other elements of your meal stand out. It is a 20-piece set that includes a dinner fork, a dinner spoon, a teaspoon, a salad fork, and a dinner knife as a service for four. The handles are the statin finish, but the eating utensil area is shiny. They are a nice stamped stainless-steel set for the budget minded family. I always take note of how sturdy the fork tines are on flatware sets. While these have some bend with pressure, they are still fairly stable, and these should provide decent wear over time without becoming bent up with light to medium use. Another thing to notice with the forks is the inner edge and the ends of the tines. They are fair in their finish with a slightly rough finish and the ends can tend to have a somewhat sharp tip. That is the main downside to this budget set. The dinner knives are real sturdy. While these are dishwasher safe, I would still make sure that they are thoroughly dry to avoid any rust blemishes developing. Never sit these in water for a long time to keep the nice finish. For the price these are a good buy and Hampton Forge always delivers a nice style and look.

Nice flatware
This set of flatware- stainless steel- has five pieces. All are well made and have heft to them so you know you are handling nicer flatware. These have rounded edges. It is a set for four place settings with a small spoon, large spoon, salad fork, main fork, and anice butter knife. When purchasing the gold or other finished sets beware not to leave them in water too long. Read the instructions. I think we will get many years of use out of this flatware.

Average quality silverware set with nice looking satin finish
When I was looking for a new set of flatware to use in my short term vacation rental, I had several key criteria in mind with a new set of silverware. I needed a 20 piece silverware set so this worked out well.I wanted something that was easy to clean and would hold up to daily usage, and wanted a simple design style as well. So far these seem pretty durable and resistant to scratches but they do tend to show fingerprints so I usually have to wipe them down with a towel after coming out of the dishwasher.

Attractive finish with a light-medium weight-Side edges are not rounded
I ordered the Hampton Forge satin touch silverware set because of the appearance and design. Upon arrival, they look attractive in the packaging and are secured for protection. The removal was fairly simple. I have washed the silverware in the dishwasher and they remain polished and as shown. The overall feel of the set is light-medium weight and does not have the ideal hand feel because of the sides of the silverware. . They have a blunt side edge that is not as smoothed over as I prefer and this does not lend to the overall quality. They have an attractive finish and I like them so far aside from this. I think they are fine if you are looking for a basic set. I will update with further time and use on the overall longevity as needed.

Nice budget flatware
Hampton Forge Brookdale Satin 20 Pc SetThis is a nice budget set of flatware. It feels OK in the hand and works well. It looks nice with the satin finish. How long that finish lasts is the question. It’s flatware and it does the job. This could be awesome for a student apartment. I think if this fits your budget, it’s good enough.

Look nice, do the job...but kind of cheap
I have never heard of "Hampton Forge," before these...and I'm pretty sure there is no forge named Hampton. Apparently the company has started making stainless steel tableware from two locations: China and India. These ones are Made in India, mostly because the last "stainless steel" I got from China...rusted after 2 weeks. So for me, I stick with Made Somewhere Else.As far as looks - these look nice. For functional, they perform well, but be aware that the fork and large spoon are...big. Bigger than I'm used to. For quality - these are not great. They are thin and feel very lightweight; it would be very easy to bend these and never get it back into proper position.I wouldn't buy these again - we usually buy the "Winco" brand, which are much more sturdy (and Made in the USA.)
