Gintama: Series Three - Part One [Blu-ray]

Thank you funimation for finally bringing this series to the west, for those that aren't aware this set starts at episode 266, but don't let that stop you, you don't need to watch the previous episodes to enjoy this. Let's hope Funimation can secure the rest of this absolutely hilarious series.

Very funny and can’t wait to purchase the other, more serious half. I really hope that, despite the Funimation-Crunchyroll split, the past and future seasons/series will continue to be physically published in the west

If you're looking at this product, it's probably because you're already a fan or a fan of the series told you about it. My advice to you would be to watch this on an anime website or Crunchyroll before buying this. It starts at episode 265. You don't need to watch to previous episodes to enjoy this incredible series, but you're missing out on some of the funniest moments in anime history. Fans of the series know what I'm talking about, and it would be such a discredit the legacy of this legendary series to start more than half way through it. Do yourself a favor and buy this collection to let JUMP know we want Gintama here in the west, but watch the rest of the series before starting this set.

Great series and it looks amazing on blu ray! Funimation did a good job with this release, and Crunchyroll dub is pretty solid as well. Now hoping we get releases of the earlier episodes too. Highly recommend!
