Straight Up Sexy
Whatever, I'll just say it: This calculator is straight up sexy. It's the perfect marriage of function and beauty. If you want to look cool while paying your bills at your kitchen table or doing inventory at your work desk, just bust this out. You have to use a calculator anyways, so why not buy one that's pretty? The buttons are easy to push; they make an audible "tap" upon pressing down to ensure that your movement was recognized and intentional, and the keys have a glossy look. The screen is positioned at an angle that makes it easy to view. It has some weight to it, so it remains stationary while punching in numbers. The moment it was removed from its box, it powered on. Plus, it has an OFF button, so you minimize the risk of draining all your juice. This calculator states that it's designed to coordinate visually with Apple products. To test out the claim, I placed this next to my Macbook Pro to see if it truely has an "Apple Design." And... As my pictures show, it passed the test... Almost as if they came together.

Finally! An elegant replacement for the ugly plastic toy.
I find I use a basic 4-function calculator in my home office 10 or 15 times a day. Its enough that I notice it.And maybe I'm old school. But I don't like to open a widget in the middle of whatever I'm doing on the computer, or pull my phone out of the charging dock, unlock it, and proceed to open a calculator app just to find out how many square feet are in a site that's 260 x 415. Especially on a conference call. I like to just aim my index finger at the purpose-built keypad and display that's sitting in front of me waiting to tell me such things. Sure - if I need mathematical heavy lifting, my spreadsheet or specialty phone app can be mobilized. But not for the constant routine stuff that only needs 3 seconds worth of basic math.Enter the desk calculator! Not a pocket calculator, but an appliance that is designed to sit front & center (or close) in your regular workspace. It needs to be big enough to key and see easily, but not a space hog. It shouldn't use another precious power outlet (or two - thank you, power brick). And it should almost never need a new battery or recharge. Lots of calculators fill that bill, right? Now let's raise the bar. It shouldn't slide around when you use it. The display should be large enough and angled properly to see without picking the device up in one hand. And the keys should inspire confidence when depressed, without making your fellow conference callers think you are making popcorn. You may find a calculator that achieves all this. But if you do, most likely, it has historically looked like something you picked up at the drugstore as an afterthought. Not a device that merits a key location on your daily workspace. You probably have hundreds and even thousands invested in the furnishings and equipment here. Why have we always had to introduce such a gaudy blemish to this household shrine???Well, this calculator finally relegates all those lesser devices to the recycle pile. I don't have to settle anymore. If Apple made a calculator, it might very well be like this one. The aesthetic and user experience is incredibly polished for such a mundane device.Well done Amemo!

Bigger than I pictured
Even though the scale of this calculator was accurately disclosed in its description, I wasn't prepared for what those dimensions actually looked like in the real world. On the positive side, it works well and is attractively designed. And after all, that's the main reason I bought it.

Great looking calculator
Great looking calculator! I am slowly converting items in my business office from various colors to all white. This calculator fits that and more. It is sleek and thin, with buttons that depress just the right amount with a good (very quiet) click. I haven't quite gotten used to having an OFF button, since my previous calculator did not have that, but I appreciate the feature. The screen is easy to view from most angles and has clear numbers.

The size of the unit is fine for use on a desk or table top
The size of the unit is fine for use on a desk or table top. It's about 4 x 1/8th inches wide and the length is 6 inches, including the angled readout. The numbers and symbols are clear and well-spaced. It has an "OFF" key, which is not present on many calculators. The display is 3/4 inches tall and very readable. These are the features I like about the Amemo. I've found nothing to dislike.

Calculator!
Definitely larger than expected especially because I was used to my tiny pocket calculator but I would recommend you give it a chance. The size ends up being just perfect. I love the color, how slim it is and easy to use.

Sleek and simple
A cute basic calculator that looks much better on my desk than the bulky dark alternatives. It's cheap, works well and has a great sleek design. Buttons are easy to press, large numbers easy to read. Highly recommend to anyone who cares what their desk looks like!

Very Good Calculator, Just Misses That 5 Stars By How It Feels
This calculator is a good calculator that looks excellent on your desk. It has made my life so much easier when I want to do some calculations quickly while at my computer/desk.I do have a couple dislikes though. It is entirely plastic, which makes me think it's a little expensive for what you get, and the metallic looking plastic going around the outside of the calculator is a little more loose than I would like as it is only stuck on in areas. That doesn't bother me as I am careful with everything anyway. This to me though makes the calculator feel a little cheap. This is why I have only given it 4 stars. On the other hand, don't dismiss this calculator at all! I mean I will not be sending the calculator back as I can be fussy with buttons on some calculators, and the buttons in this calculator are easy to press, big enough to hit when in a hurry, and they don't need to be jabbed very hard, they make the calculator look amazing and as pathetic as it may sound, I love that calculator sound is makes when you press the buttons! I love this side of the calculator A LOT. This is arguably the most important factor in a calculator to me.Overall if you want a good looking calculator, with a very good set of button, that makes your desk look that little bit better. This is the calculator for you! If it's totally about how it feels you in hands, I would look ease where. But I do recommend this calculator to nearly anyone, especially if you catch it at a small discount. Thanks Anemo for your great calculator!

Stylish basic calculator
As mentioned, the styling of this calculator is particularly impressive. It has a 'fruity' feel, if you get my drift. The screen is set at a good angle for ease of use and the digits are sensibly sized to avoid error. Very light. If you need a basic calculator that looks good next to a Mac, this is your model.

Simple and elegant
Simple, elegant and effective. I'm really pleased with this, it's so nice to have a calculator that does its job but also looks nice. I've had a number of comments on it - it does look a lot like it should be an apple product and is a bit bigger than I thought, however still think it's excellent value for money and a beautiful design.
