Screaming Mad George designed the creatures in this Kung Fu monster mash up. The movie was adapted from a Japaneses Cartoon series and was done rather well. A good cast with some familiar faces carried the outlandish story while the main hero was an unknown. So surprise there considering what the make up department put him through. This is not Shakespeare, so don't look for anything but weird escapism. Fun stuff! There was a lesser sequel , and as mentioned an animated series to go with this. The monsters are the main hook and unlike anything you would see outside of Star Wars. But they are a lot meaner.

I’m still waiting to get it i ordered it a while a go but it hasn’t come in yet but i remember renting it out on video cassette one time and it was great didn’t know mark hammil was in sort of reminds me of the power rangers still can’t wait for it come in so i can watch it

I watched this movie when I was a kid and lost the VHS many years ago. When I remembered it last year and decided to buy it on dvd the copy I got seemed off. Several scenes didn't have things I remembered in them. Then I learned that the US DVD was for some reason edited to remove every bit of blood and gore and given the label "Director's Cut". This German Blu-ray version of the movie has all of the scenes restored and is the movie I remember as a kid. You do have to change the language from German to English, but it is easy to do in the menu.

Not a whole lot to work with but the look of the film hasn’t looked this good since it was in theaters. Nice little bonus features and easy to navigate menu. Keep up the good work Arrow.

I remember watching this on tv back in the early 90’s every time it showed on whatever channel it was. I fell in love with this movie as a kid and has that classic horror/action vibe to it.The actual costumes in this give it more of a realistic vibe versus using CGI for the creature transformations.The BLU RAY worked perfectly on my home blu ray player here in the States. So no need to worry that it won’t play as it says in the description.Just buy it and enjoy with some snacks!...

Memories from ym child hood love this movie :)

One of the best cheesy 90s action movies out there.Not a faithful recreation of the source content, just a really fun cheesy action movie.The quality of the blu-ray isn't top, but it's good for sure.

Had to put 1 star as i couldn't put 0 stars.The dvd doesn't work in my dvd player, bluray player, my xbox series x or my laptop.And it looks like it could be a copy with a very good disk printed sticker.Im not happy at all.

Hâte de découvrir ce "chef-d'œuvre" interprété avec brio, par un certain Mark Hamill .Le 2e opus ne devrait pas trop tarder.
