Rachael Ray Buon Appetito Italian Seasoning Grinder, 1.94-Ounce

I highly recommend this product!I was very impressed by the quality of the Malabar peppercorns in this grinder. They are extremely flavorful and pungent. What really makes this item for me, though, is the quality of the grinder. The disposable grinder jars included with spices usually disappoint, and I often find myself moving the contents to another grinder before long. I expected the same to be the case with the Rachael Ray grinder, but it grinds beautifully, chewing through impressive volumes in almost no time, and with consistent grind size. I expect I will want to keep the grinder when I use up all the pepper.

My favorite, everyday seasoning. Always have it on hand. Only thing that bothers me about it is that every time I’ve gotten it in the mail the top isn’t completely tighten on. I learned it the hard way while I opened the first one I ever got and immediately started to put it on a raw rack of ribs. The entire bottle dumped on top of the raw meat. Was so bummed. Just make sure to tighten the top upon arrival!

I read a lot about the Himalayan salt, so I ordered one of this brand, and then found another brand in the store. So, I tried both. After I tried this brand, at the bottom of a dish of casserole, I noticed I was eating a "gritty substance". It looked like pink sand. I noticed on the "ingredient" listing....it is labeled "pink salt" as opposed to the other brand, labeling the contents as Himalayan pink salt. When I compared the two in color, this was significantly more "pink" than the other brand. I don't know the difference, but I know I was a bit concerned. There was a SIGNIFICANT amount of pink gritty substance left in the bottom of my dish. While the grinder itself worked well, I am not planning on using the rest of this product. I have had no such issues with the brand I purchased at Wal-mart. It completely dissolved in my food and left a very pleasant taste. I am disappointed.

I got this on a whim because it popped up as a suggested add-on item for my cart. Thr price was right so I got some and I am glad I did.This blend smells fabulous and goes well on so many things, both protein items and vegetables. I grind it up over my lunchtime salad which gives lots of flavor without using tons of dressing and that is a bonus. I have bought several for my college aged kids to use over their microwave foods and cafeteria foods and they have all asked for more of this when they run out.I tried it once or twice in general cooking, but that did not turn out so well for me so I went back to other blends I use. I think this product works better as a 'sit on the table' spice that can be used on freshly served foods and salads instead of so much salt in our diet (even though this blend DOES include sea salt, be aware it is not salt free). We have replaced our usual Mrs Dash table blend shaker with this grinder and we do enjoy this blend better...

I have at least 30 spice bottles filled with individual seasonings and this one is the best poultry seasoning I’ve come across, the grinder works well too.I've tried this seasoning on various meats/fish and it goes well with all of them.The only drawbacks is the amount you get for the price and the grinder is made of plastic so care is needed or it could break. So far mine has not cracked or broke and I’m ¾ of the way through the bottle.UPDATE: Have gone through two containers of this seasoning and so far the grinder has not broke.

the lid does not screw on properly. If you try to pick it up by the top, it falls and spills salt all over. This is clearly a very defective product. You cannot use it as a grinder, as advertised. The threads on the lid are not even close to fitting into the grooves on the bottle. The actual salt is satisfactory, but as a total product, completely unusable.

Very tasty seasoning. Adds more than a spark to your foods. I highly recommend this seasoning as it really adds some flavor to my food. The only suggestion is sometimes the 'grinder' does not totally grind things down...so careful you don't bite into something harder than normal.

Ordered 3 bottles and all were expired. It’s upsetting because I really like the seasoning. I usually order from Qvc but I hate to by the whole set when 24/7 is my favorite. It’s not horrible it’s just the it’s not fresh and they should not be sending out expired seasoning.The fresh not expired one taste much better but 24/7 overall has a good flavor. I just don’t appreciate being sent products that are Already well over a year expired.
