The first volume effortlessly takes you on a trip to the outdoors in the middle of winter, and makes it seem pleasant even if you have never camped before in your life, let alone in the cold!The story begins with a chance meeting between Rin and Nadeshiko at a campsite near Mt. Fuji. Rin, usually a solo camper, helps Nadeshiko out when she accidentally naps until nightfall. Spending time with Rin and seeing Mt.Fuji in the moonlight both leave quite an impression on Nadeshiko, who decides to leap feet-first into camping, and eagerly joins her new school's outdoor club.It's a slow-paced story with lots of charm and little jokes, and few useful camping tips here and there. Like its namesake, the series bets a lot on being relaxing and lighthearted, and I think it is safe to say that it pays off. There's no big melodrama to be found here, just a group of highschoolers all connected by their fondness for camping. From the outdoor club's humble beginnings, to Rin's 'like a pro' solo trips, this book covers a pretty broad perspective on the pastime.This is a good book to read at a scenic spot of your choice with a beverage close by. Be it by a campfire in winter, a fireplace at home, or in the shade by the poolside if it happens to be summer where you are.

I wasn't sure what I was getting into when I got this, but I really like it a lot. It's relaxing. It's cute. It hits all the right slice of life vibe spots for me. It's also really neat to see all the camping tidbits in it. I like camping, so this is a good read for anyone who likes the outdoors or is just curious about it.

As you can see, the manga is very very new with no creases whatsoever and the cover has a unique texture!I recommend if you watched & enjoyed the anime and are awaiting the upcoming movie ♡

After finishing this book, my desire to try camping went up, it was cute and informative on how you can use pinecones to start a fire for example! I look forward to reading the next volume!Just found out that they made this into an anime! A

This manga is pretty much exactly what it says on the tin, girls go camping. Lots of natural vistas and fun interactions between the campers. If you're following along with the anime, this volume covers to the end of episode 4.The translation is also good, but there were a couple of errors in the Kindle version. The inner cover page and the table of contents appears to be for the second volume rather than the first. Also, the translation seemed a bit off on one of the pages (148, "I'll be to Chino soon"). However the pinecone saying hello was translated as "Cone-nichiwa", so that made up for everything as far as I was concerned.

My daughter absolutely loves these and it has her interested in going camping and backpacking, which has led to some great adventures together.The only downside is that the translation could be a bit better. Reading this vs reading the Siberowl translations there is a big difference in how well it reads and what got translated or was better off left in the original language and explained with a note.

Watched the anime first. loved it! The graphic of the manga is excellent. I looked up the places mentioned in manga and anime in Google map, and found them. Felt like I was camping with them, too!

After watching the now-hit anime series, I decided to pick up the manga and I can't say I'm at all disappointed. It's a bit different of a feel than the show had, but the artwork is gorgeous and feels great to read. Definitely recommend the physical release over digital

Mi anime favorito de la temporada de invierno 2018, sin duda debía tener el reciente publicado manga, y al igual que el anime es un momento lleno de diversión y aprendizaje sobre acampar.Ya sea al ver el anime o leer este manga sin duda te darán ganas de salir a acampar en tus próximas vacaciones, para todo fan de la comedia y del que sólo busca relajarse y pasarla bien, totalmente recomendable.El manga viene traducido al ingles.

大好きな作品が英語でも楽しめます。果たして外人がこれを読んで感覚がわかるのかは疑問点が残るところですが、キャンプの描写自体はとても丁寧で素敵なのでこれは万国共通で楽しめるのではないかと思います。アメリカのキャンプは基本的にソロの概念が無いか気薄だと思われるのでとても新鮮なキャンプスタイルに映るのではないかと予想しております。

Having watched the anime and read the manga digitally, I thought this was just a good way to support the author and a neat thing to put on the bookshelf. Couldn't have been more wrong. Play some relaxing music, snuggle up and watch as time disappears.
