We got the Catchmaster bait refills to put into our existing yellow jacket traps. Usually, we can get the queens if we put these out in April and then have fewer around in the summer (and the fall when they are a pain). The refills come in cellulose packets that dissolve in water. They are supposed to attract a number of insect varieties, depending upon how active they are.The yellow jacket pheromone attractants work better, at least this time of year.

Well it's snowing out but I ordered this for when the little critters wake up and start being a nuisance again. I've read if you start early, you might get the Queen and undermine the whole colony. I don't want to pour poison in the ground.It's a decent listing price for a 2-pack.I'm not rating this for scent because I don't plan to smell it.

The yellow jackets attractants are easy to use. Jut put in the jar and add water. Our season is not started yet and I can't tell if they are effective. In the package, it doesn't have any ingredients description, besides " non toxic", I wish there was.

Unfortunately I threw out my trap last year because I didn't know that they had refills, so I'll be buying another one to use these with. But I have experience with this setup and this company, and I can comfortably say that it does the job. Right now, it's winter and all those nasty little craters are hiding away waiting to come out. I'll be setting these traps up the minute I see the first one and I'm glad I will have the refills to keep them going so they can do their job. Having worked with the company I have no fear that there will be any issues but if these replacements do not do their job I will come back and update.

In late summer, we get yellow jackets in our area. I will be using this yellow jacket bait then. I thought that this order contained the 2 jars, but it only came with the 2-pack of bait. I will be ordering the container jars for this bait.
