Gina... She disapproves of swinging!!!
I'm a middle aged bloke who needed to get fitter. I bought this for rainy days when I couldn't go out for a walk but the effects were so good I do this workout several times a week now. It is aimed at women (there's lots of "Go for it, girls!!" type of talk) but I found it worked for me too by upping the weights used. It is about 50 mins long but split into five minute segments so the time goes by quickly, I have never got bored. The star of the show is Glamorous Gina, a relentlessly happy Aussie who leads you through rounds of bouncing followed by stretching and lifting. She has two sidekicks whom you can follow for an easier or harder workout; you can lounge about like Helen or go for it like school swot show-off Sarah. But you will follow Gina, if only for the fact that she's got the fancy outfit on and she's made the others dress out of the lost property bin.You will want to get some weights to get the full effects, I've gone from 1kg to 3kg weights. I have lost weight and feel fitter. I didn't in all honesty think this would be any good but I'm genuinely surprised how easy and effective it is.

A Fantastic Workout
I am in my early 30's and have been looking for a DVD that would provide me with a good workout, but didn't require me to do constant squats, burpees and lunges. I have used this DVD for nearly a month now and I am so impressed with it. I remember the first time I used the DVD and thought that the exercises were not going to make me break a sweat, oh how wrong I was! I complete the upper and lower body sections together for a full 40 minute workout, but you can easily complete one or the other and just have a 20 minute workout. Gina's directions are very easy to follow and her enthusiasm is contagious. The DVD offers three different levels, easy, medium and hard. You can choose to use weights if you like, but don't worry if you don't want to, the option to not use them is there too! You don't need to have a dance background in order to be able to follow the steps so don't let that potentially put you off purchasing this. This provides a fun and very enjoyable workout, I look forward to using the DVD and don't feel like exercising with this is a chore. It's a fun and upbeat workout and the 20 minute sessions fly by! I am definitely going to be investing in her other DVD's. Thank you Gina!

Excellent beginners introduction
This dvd is do-able. I haven't exercised in years and managed to complete the dvd. I worked up a sweat but it's not as difficult as say your typical exercise class ( the type where you are praying for the music to end). At the moment doing this is giving me a sense of achievement but I know I am going to have to move on to a more intense program for the results I want.

Excellent DVD - Thoroughly Recommend
During the recent lockdown I was looking for an exercise DVD that I could use on the days when I wasn’t out running. I normally don’t like exercise programmes so I was looking for something fun that would also help me to keep fit. I liked the sound of the ‘dancercise’ aspect of this one so after reading the reviews I decided to give it a go and I’m really glad I did.I normally do either the Upper Body or Lower Body workouts (alternating between the two) as I find that’s enough for me. I’m not using weights at the moment but that’s something I may move on to in the future. Gina herself is excellent, very encouraging and makes the whole thing fun and I also like the 5 minute timer so you know exactly how long any particular exercise section has left - I find that helps. So I’d certainly recommend this DVD for anyone looking to get (or maintain) fitness in a fun and enjoyable way.

Basic but effective
This is a good workout for beginners or to just get back into the swing of it.Which is why i bought it. Easy to follow and a difference in 'moves' which is good, for a change. The music is pretty boring and repetitive but you sort of block it out after a while.

At last a workout DVD that you can do
We all have workout DVDs that feature famous people with their trainers showing us how to get fit and toned with exercises that are so difficult that after a couple of goes it goes back on the shelf not to be watched again. This DVD is totally different, the routines are simple easy to follow but you still get the cardio going and at the end of the 50 mins you feel good that you have completed it.I have a knee problem - I am at the bottom of a long list waiting for a knee replacement - and with a bit of care I can manage to do most of the exercises by easing off on some or adapting to keep moving without the pressure through the knee. It helps the keep my knee as strong as possible.I am more than happy to keep on with this DVD each day it is just enough but not too much to feel as though you are killing yourself.

Easy and fun.
I read other reviews before buying this as I have a few back and leg issues which have prevented me from exercising as much as I'd like during Lockdown. As others have said, this is a really nice DVD, Gina is very personable, her energy is encouraging not annoying, she reminds you to keep your posture correct, and the time flies by...and there are no really tricky moves or ridiculously thin women to look at.The music isn't particularly to my taste but it's fine, it gets you moving, and I guess once you know the exercises well you could play your own. I'm taking it easy and doing it in stages as I see how I go. I do 25 minutes very easily and I'm sticking to the Upper body workout first .I may even try the other DVDs at some point and save paying for the gym!

One of my favorite workout videos
I love this video and keep it in my regular rotation. This is an invigorating workout. I am 75 years old and need to modify a couple of the moves because of arthritic shoulders, but aside from that, I find this to be excellent circuit training. I appreciate that Gina has 2 helpers who show more intense and less intense movements. The resistance portions are intermixed with cardio elements to keep the intensity high. The first portion is a good cardio dance-style warmup. The second section is upper body resistance alternating with cardio dance moves. The third section is lower body alternating with cardio dance moves. The last section is a cooldown and stretch. The stretches are not held long enough for me, and so I sort of do my own thing. The entire video takes just under an hour.

Good for a person new to exercise, i.e., exercising for the first time
I found this workout very doable especially if you're one who has never exercised before in your life. It is a little too easy for me even though I have not exercised for quite a while. Very upbeat instructor and always encouraging you to do what you can and have fun. I enjoyed doing it.

Just Right!
This workout was just right! The right pace, the right number of repetitions, the right music that went with the routine, the right amount of sweat! :) You should market this to older women as it was just the right speed and easily done without boredom.

Better than most I've used
In order to vary my daily exercise routine, I have been working my way through the various DVD's in our local library's collection. When I find one that stands out from the rest, I buy my own copy.I bought this one because the presenter is personable and energetic; she changes the routine every minute; and she offers three options: upper body (35 min.), lower body (35 min.), and the two combined (55 min.)I find that these exercises help with flexibility and balance as well as muscle tone. With that in mind, I recommend it to my fellow senior citizens.

Great Circuit Workout!
I love all of Gina B.'s "Dance That Walk" workouts, so much fun and great cardio, but this Circuit Training DVD feels much more like a training session at the gym. Cardio mixed with upper & lower body training circuits work up a great sweat and makes you feel like you have truly done a workout. Great for days when you feel like you need a little bit more of a challenge, and still fun due to Gina's enthusiasm and bubbly personality, without all of the incessant chatter I grew weary of in Leslie Sansone's workouts.
