3 Legged Thing Eclipse Winston, Versatile 3-Section Carbon Fibre Tripod System (Slate Grey)

Great tripod, very light and yet stable. The adjustable locking angles for the legs (not the length rings) is a bonus. The only reason this hasn't got 5/5 is the head ~ the plate is a little fiddly and can be prone to slip on the camera base. But if you tighten it with a coin, it's okay. They could really do with a tad more rubbery surface there.Apart from that, great kit!

I have three tripods and the other two are nowhere near the standard of this rock steady tripod. No problem keeping my Nikon D5 with Sigma 150-600 mm Sports zoom steady and balanced. I photograph battle scenes at reenactment events and this combo is a joy to use.

El trípode es de muy buena calidad y perfecto para mis necesidades. Buscaba un trípode ligero pero que, a pesar de ello, tuviera gran estabilidad y la suficiente altura para el tipo de fotografía que practico. Estoy acostumbrado a mi queridísimo Manfrotto 075, que es como un tanque, pero que, pesando también lo mismo que un tanque, me resulta demasiado pesado para cargar con él en ciertas ocasiones. Tras mucho análisis, tenía el 3LT Winston apuntado como un complemento perfecto para aquellas ocasiones en las que no quiero/puedo llevar tantos kilos encima, pero sin renunciar, en la medida de lo posible, a las ventajas de un trípode grande. Y, la verdad, no me ha defraudado en absoluto. Es robusto, alto, sólido, ligero, modular, cómodo de llevar (con o sin su propia bolsa, que viene incluida)... Creo que va a sustituir al otro muchas más veces de las que tenía previstas. Además, pude comprarlo por un precio irrisorio.

This is by far the sturdiest and most rugged tripod I have ever used. It is pretty light given how hefty it is. It extends way higher than I will probably ever take it, but if I use off camera flash, thats what this guy will be used for. Ergonomics are great. It also gets very low to the ground as well for macro shots or low level landscape/wildlife work. Mostly what I do. I am very pleased.

If you need a tall tripod, then get a real fullsize tripod. This ain't it. very flimsy

Strong, good design. High price.

This is by far the nicest tripod I have owned.
