Many are familiar with the problem of defective transponder ringson the ignition lock or defective transponder key.The car starts but immediately turns offbecause the immobiliser is still activated. The Drive Box deactivates key transponder based immobilisers of many Volkswagen plc models from approx. 1999 to 2007.The immobiliser can be easily deactivated orreactivated at the touch of a button. The Drive Box works with the following models:- Audi A2 / A3 / A4 / A6.- Seat Cordoba / Ibiza / Toledo / Toledo.- Skoda Octavia.- Skoda Octavia II.- Skoda Scout.- Skoda Roomstar.- Skoda Fabia.- Skoda Superb (up to 2007).- Porsche Cayenne (Petrol, old model).- VW Golf IV / Bora (year of construction 2000 onwards).- VW Polo (year of construction 2000 onwards).- VW Caddy (year of construction 2000 onwards).- VW Eos / Tiguan.- VW Passat 3BG (up to 2004 – with the exception of 2.5 V6).- VW T4 (Models from 2003).- VW Beetle. The following control devices are supported: - Petrol model with controller version: ME7 ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, ME7.1.1 for petrol models from 1.6 litres onwards.- Diesel with controller version: EDC15. Instructions for use (Deactivation):1. ) Put the Drive Box (ON position )in the OBD2 connection of your vehicle. 2.) Put the Drive Box in the OFF position.The LED light flashes slowly, then after approximately20 to 30 seconds it starts flashing quickly. 3.) The car can now be started without the transponder key. Instructions for use (Activation):1.) Put the Drive Box (ON position )in the OBD2 connection of your vehicle. 2.) Put the Drive Box in the ON position.The LED light flashes slowly, then after approximately20 to 30 seconds it starts flashing quickly. 3.) Now the immobiliser is again reactivated.
