Body Buddy Non-absorbent Lotion Applicator in Walnut

NOTE: To clean, you will probably want to hand wash this manually and avoid too many machine washes. It’s not impossible to machine wash, it is just that you will get a harder material over time and that doesn’t feel too good on our sensitive backs. I have done this, but realized my mistake and bought another to replace the harder material one. I use the new one for after shower every day, and now use that semi defective one for times I am at the beach and applying product (not as many times used). Both work still and work as advertised.

This applicator is the best ever. It is very comfortable, very easy to use, provides a nice even coat over any area and is truly non absorbent. I will use it to put tanning oil or sunscreen on before outdoor activities, afterwards I will use it to put Aloe or Lotion on. You never have left over oil or residue, it wipes off while applying to your skin, dries and is ready for the next use no matter what you are putting on. I have been using this ever day, two or three times a day since it arrived and have a feeling this will hold up to heavy use for a long long time.

I have a confession to make. I bought this product in order to apply my self tanner. I thought this would be perfect for hard to reach places and I was pretty accurate. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the self tanner was not lotion, and if someone has a type of spray they need to get on their back and wanted to use this to help, this is not your item. However, this is PERFECT for lotion! I had shoulder surgery a few years back and cannot reach behind to put lotion on without pain. This has helped me put lotion all over and hydrate those hard to reach spots with moisturizer. My grandmother had lung surgery, back surgery, and double knee replacements and she uses my Body Buddy to help put lotion where she cannot reach. The handles are sturdy, so when you pull you're not afraid you're going to break it. You do need to make sure you put a good amount of lotion on or you're going to have that rubbery feeling gliding across your back.Highly recommended for anyone who has a hard time reaching in back or with shoulder/back/arm issues!

This is an effective product, and it was much needed considering that my back ALWAYS felt dry, and there was nothing that I could do about it. I once bought a hand held lotion applicator from Walmart, it was not easy to use, and it broke after a few uses; not only that, but it absorbed the lotion preventing it from actually moisturizing my back. Fortunately, this lotion applicator is easy to use, and does not absorb lotion as promised. I recommend this product, and will order another one as a back-up in the future.

Love Love Love this thing. I only wish I'd found it sooner. A bit pricey, but thinking I'd make one on my own is silly, so I bit the bullet and paid the price.GREAT for getting to those hard to reach areas on my back. I found this by accident when I was reading about the "Mother of All Creams" by Puriya (best cream ever! works wonders and great customer service). The "Mother of All Creams" is phenomenal and in conjunction with this Body Buddy, it's changed my life because I can finally rub lotion ALL over my back and get all those hard to reach areas that I could never reach in the past with those roller ball applicators. I haven't slept in months due to an itchy back that bothers me every time I lay down. Now, with this Body Buddy and the Puriya cream I can finally sleep through the night without waking up itchy. It's a miracle! These 2 items have changed my life! If there were a way to make the body buddy slightly longer, that would be great. I have shoulder issues, so extra length would make this much easier to use. I've seen similar comments from others, so it would be something worth exploring.

Product doesn’t work well at all and when I went to explore the return option I got a notice that it’s nonreturnable.The applicator portion is made of thick vinyl like material that doesn’t flex enough to apply anything. I initially tried this with self tanner and I’m so glad it had a dark color guide. No matter how I twist and turn application is uneven, streaky, and blobs of product fall off the applicator since the material is slippery. I love the idea but this product just doesn’t work at all.

At first I loved this product and it did exactly what I needed it to do. Then the handles stretched out and it ni longer works as well. It flips over to the opposite side and will not stay in place as I u see it. I wouldn't suggest this product to anyone else.

So I got this in October 2017 because I had a full body outbreak of eczema. This thing completely saved my life!!! I've never had any skin issues and was absolutely miserable. This applicator made getting lotion on my back possible and did a great job. After using it for a couple weeks though the elastic in the handles completely gave out. I just sewed on some new ones and still use this thing. I will say that it did perform better when the handles were new and in good working condition.
