I really like my new Epson Work Force WF-2960 printer, but it's very picky about the ink cartridges it will accept. Like most printers nowadays, it looks for ink cartridges from Epson, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and instantly rejects those from entrepreneurial 'third-party' vendors who offer theirs at a far more reasonable cost. This insidious practice is banned in some countries and has prompted class-action lawsuits here in the US. The European version of my printer will accept third-party cartridges... but mine won't! I tried several of the non-OEM brands sold here on Amazon that were advertised as compatible, but the printer would not recognize them and refused to print. Fortunately, Amazon allowed the returns and quickly issued a refund without complaint.These EZink cartridges, on the other hand, install and perform perfectly. Moreover, the EZink company is not only quick to answer before-the-sale questions, but the way they package and document their product shows that they are professional and responsible. Time will tell, of course, but so far I am very happy with the performance of this ink in my printer.A heads-up on the matter of third-party ink cartridges: If you do find a third-party cartridge that works in your printer, you might consider turning-off your printer's automatic update function so the manufacturer can't deny your use of those cartridges with a sneaky firmware "fix" in the future.
