This is so cool and creative! My family and I say “love you to the moon and back” so this was the perfect gift. It is the perfect night light. Has 3 different colors. You just tap the little humans and the light turns on, changes color or turns off. So easy to use. Perfect size for a night stand or book case. We have had it for a few months now and battery still going strong.

UPDATE March 10, 2017I just received the new product and it appears to work just fine. I still don't think the placement of the USB port is a good idea because there really seems to be a lack of support for it. While it's sturdy enough that it shouldn't fall apart from normal use (at least it feels that way right now) I feel like it would break down sooner than if it had something holding it in place other than solder. They may have added more support but I haven't opened the case on the new one to check. Whether they have or not it still feels like it could be set up better. Nonetheless, I've raised my rating to 5 stars because Mamre really cares about getting a good product out to its customers and they seem to have fixed the previous issue.UPDATE March 08, 2017After writing my original review I received an email from the company stating a new batch of the product was being made that fixes the issue I listed below. They offered to send me a new one but since I already fixed mine I didn't think it was necessary so I didn't pursue that option. I received an email today from Amazon saying a new order for this product has shipped so it appears the company sent me one anyway. Their customer support seems to be great and they are really trying fix the problems with the first batch. I'm adding another star to this review simply because of their support. Once I receive the new one and test it out I'll add another update, hopefully with more stars.ORIGINALThe design of this product is really nice and my wife loves it. However, I am giving it two stars because of its cheap quality. Upon opening it I could already feel the components moving around inside. I plugged it in, taking note of the poorly mounted USB port, and everything seemed to work fine until I needed to move it. The next time I plugged it in the USB port fell inside the unit. Luckily my wife hadn't seen it yet so I looked around at how I could open it up and found two screws on the back. After removing them, it took a little force to open the unit and when it finally came loose a chunk of metal came flying out. This metal is apparently intended to be a weight although I'm not sure why it was put in there. The product is sturdy enough without it and if their goal was to make it simply feel heavier so it gives the illusion of greater value they should have at least made sure it fit snugly in its slot. This piece of metal is what I initially felt moving around inside that made the product feel cheaper. I looked around inside and discovered the USB port had completely fallen off the PCB (see img 1). Since I dabble with electronics I was able to successfully repair the board by soldering wires to the battery lead mounts (see img 2) and running them out the back of the unit to a DC barrel jack. I also had to re-solder the additional ground wire (used for making the LEDs brighter) back to the figurine of the people sitting in front of the moon as that broke when I opened the unit. I'm happy that it was a (somewhat) simple fix but the product should have been made right the first time.

I got this for my husband for our 15th anniversary. It was a perfect gift! It is a well-made touch lamp that makes for a lovely nightlight or mood lighting addition to a room. I also really loved the addition of the stickers. They were easy to apply and my husband thought I had paid to have a special message added.The company was AMAZING to work with. They shipped the light quickly. But the cord and plug were mistakenly left out. I contacted the company late that night and was amazed that I had a response within 20 minutes. I was so happily surprised! They shipped out the cord and wall adapter immediately and sent me an email letting me know. Sadly, the package was held up in the New York postal processing system. I was concerned it might have gotten lost. So I contacted the company again asking for a tracking number, and again their support team responded almost immediately with the information. Once the package got out of New York it moved quickly and I got the plug the day after my anniversary. We were thrilled to see this lit. It is beautiful and adds a warm glow to the room.It has three brightness levels and is so attractive! I'm so glad to have found this, and I am so pleased with this company.

It's cute. I got this as a gift to my husband for our 15th anniversary. It is a good size, and the different lights are neat. Definitely a cute gift for a space lover.

The plastic is ok but I don't think I would purchase another one.

After reading the reviews and receiving the item, it is exactly what I thought it was going to be. It is very good quality. It is very bright and I would buy again for another gift.

Moonlit romance. Lovely, elegant, whimsical, creative, and absolutely charming.....its really adorable for the right couple. I gave it to a couple for their 26 year anniversary and it brought tears to their eyes. You plug it in and press the couple to turn it on...yes it's touch activated. Press 3 times for increased light levels. The couple is looking up endearingly at the moon which was perfect for this couple who are extremely spiritual and closely connected. I recommend lighting it at night in an area that hides the chord or in a shelf thay creates darkness around it to enhance the golden light. Your room or patio will glow like embers. My one suggestion is be delicate with it, the plug and the couple as it is sensitive. Enjoy gifting 🎁 😘

war etwas enttäuscht.. einfachstes plastik.. als nachttischlampe kaum zu gebrauchen, weil sie kaum licht spendet. die spielerei mit der angeblichen milchstraße ist für kinder kaum nachvollziehbar. schalter muss erst gesucht werden.. ist das pärchen.. das muss gedrückt werden. kaufen würd ich sie nicht.
