Initial impression: Seems usable but lower quality than what I expected.
**Updated since using on a 4 day 50+ mile kayak/camping trip** Overall look is good. The body of the bag is durable and waterproof. Size is good. The main zipper is hard to open but that improves with silicone lubricant. The zipper and zipper pull tab are the only metal pieces on the bag. I'm very disappointed that all of the buckles and clips are plastic. The backpack strap broke on the FIRST attempt being used while fully loaded (3rd pic). The bottom tie downs are barely adjustable (why?) the straps are only a couple inches long and can come completely loose without much effort. Huge design flaws. I'm conflicted about this bag. I wanted it to be the last one I ever bought, but I don't think that will be true. I still believe this same quality bag can be found for cheaper.

Solid Concept, But Feels Underwhelming for the Price
The FIELDCRAFT SEA WOLF Waterproof Duffel Bag promises a lot with its waterproof capabilities and robust feature set, including high-frequency welded seams, a free-floating waterproof inner compartment, and practical MOLLE webbing for customization. At 60L, it offers ample space for gear, and its design to withstand submersion in up to 5 feet of water is commendable. However, despite these promising attributes, the bag's overall feel doesn't quite live up to the expectations set by its $129 price tag.Upon receiving the bag, the first impression was mixed. The material, while seemingly durable, has a tactile feel that might come across as somewhat cheap, not reflecting the premium price point. It lacks the heft and texture one might expect from a high-end waterproof duffel, leaving a bit to be desired in terms of perceived quality.Functionality-wise, the SEA WOLF performs its duties — keeping contents dry and secure in wet conditions. The waterproofing aspect is reliable, and the bag's design features, like the low-profile opening and the ability to daisy chain several bags together, are thoughtful touches. However, the overall execution doesn't scream premium, which is disappointing considering the investment. For adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize waterproofing above all, the SEA WOLF might still be a suitable choice. It gets the job done, offering decent storage solutions and adaptability for various activities. Yet, for those weighing quality feel and build against cost, this duffel bag might not hit the mark. The concept and design intent are solid, but the execution feels lacking, not quite justifying the price point. A 3-star rating reflects this mixed bag of impressive features and underwhelming material quality.

Pretty nice. Looks/feels as described. Can wear as backpack!
When I ordered it I didn't even realize you could wear this thing like a backpack (I didn't read carefully) - to me that's a giant bonus because it really does come with padded straps that make it work just as well horizontally like a duffel or vertically like a backpack. At first the main zipper on the top seemed too stiff, like, I wasn't even sure if it was meant to pull back further and maybe I would break it. I realized that made no sense, pulled it back and nothing tore, no sounds, I don't know what I was expecting (maybe a second layer zipper?) because it would need to be something very robust if it is truly waterproof submerged.I will feel much more comfortable transporting my clothes and electronics outside in the rail, or for light hiking, with this tough gear. Looks cool too!
