This has the same great quality as what I used in Japan. I use this product daily to boost my protein intake. Adding it to my morning coffee boosts the aroma and protein. When I feel hungry, mixing it into hot milk makes for a great snack too.

of course i use it,as expected, to coat mochi. but i also use it to make chocolate tahini truffles, and will be using it in savory dishes as well. ah, delicious ideas in my brain!

I had no idea about kinako powder and its place in Japanese confectionary. I ended up using it for making thick sauces for noodles and fried rice and it rocks! I shall be using it regularly from now on!

I've been trying this soy powder on vanilla ice cream and it adds some complexity that is tasty/almost nutty, but not overwhelming. I wish the labeling was in English, but it's easy enough to find information and recipes on the web. I also read that it can be substituted for up to 30% of all-purpose flour in recipes, which I tell myself makes for a healthier cookie.

I had never tried Kinako powder before but figured that since I like soy nuts this should taste pretty similar and I was correct! This has that same roasted nut flavor in a powder that is much easier on my teeth than those very very crispy roasted soy nuts.The taste reminds me of a dry roasted peanut as well as being to similar a roasted soy nut. I sprinkled it on some plain Greek yogurt and really liked the taste it added. In addition to tasting good, one serving of 3 teaspoons adds a whopping 3 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein so it really ups the nutritional value of whatever I add it to. The kids put a little on some vanilla pudding and thought it was ground up peanuts. I will be trying it in a smoothie next.There are two zip close bags included in the package with an expiration date 7 months in the future.

I have a nut allergy, so I like to use soybean products in place of nuts in lots of different types of recipes.There are plenty of traditional recipes for using soy bean powder, as well. I've been having lots of fun exploring all the different options so far i've only done SweetP recipes but I know there are plenty of savory recipes that you can use this for as well. I love that it comes in two separate packages so it seems like it will stay fresher for longer.It's also very reasonably priced, so I'm very happy with this purchase.
