Have been using the scale for several weeks, merely for weighing beans before grinding and them timing during brews. Battery has not been an issue, still running on the initial charge while relying on sleep mode when not in use (haven't been using the physical switch, which apparently was problematic on earlier models). Issues have arisen, however -- the timer button senses a finger touch even without being physically touched, so I've had to avoid even moving a finger over that area inadvertently, and today it randomly shut itself off while timing. Not fun in the early morning hours when making coffee. Edited to add: Seems to have been a fluke or perhaps even normal auto-off timing, so I have added another star, and thumbs up so far. Edited again after several months to say that I've had zero problems and the scale has been great. Added another star.

I needed a bigger scale, when I bought this one I chose the right one, it is precise and the time counter is very useful

Have had two Taylor scales and each one lasted about a year before it got wonky and would not read correctly in spite of new batteries, I decided to spend more money and get one designed for pour over coffee. I got a Timemore with the timer function included. It comes with a rechargeable battery and does a great job reading the coffee weight, the container weight and the time instantly. Very happy with it.

My first experience has me wanting to return it. My first mistake was enabling auto timer mode which seemed unable to detect flow like the manual claims it should. Then trying to start the timer tares the scale weight back go zero when there was already flow going. Now I have no idea where my coffee is at. Great. The two button interface gets an F--- I wanted to try this out quickly on lunch and here I am more irritated than I began. Haptic feedback would be great. Clicky buttons that can actually be pressed.

Ottima bilancia di precisione. La uso per estrazioni filtro e per espresso manuale con leva Flair. La cosa che trovo più interessante in questa fascia di prezzo è mostrare il flow rate, che è un dato molto importante sia per filtro che per espresso. Carino anche il fatto che sia ricaricabile anche se da quando la ho non è mai servito farlo, alla fine rimane accesa pochi minuti alla volta. Unica pecca è che i comandi non sono a pulsanti fisici ma a sfioro e se per errore ci va su un po' di acqua si fa fatica ad usarli. Ad ogni modo non un gran problema basta asciugare e stare attenti, 5 stelle meritate

Bra kvalitet, snygg och lång batteritid. Lite väl hög och kan bli trångt under brygghuset. Väldigt känsliga knappar. Startar snabbt och har tydlig display.

Es muy precisa. Muy útil tanto para preparar un buen café (gracias al temporizador integrado) como para pesar cualquier alimento. Fácil de usar. Mencionar que no cambia, por tocar un botón mínimamente, de unidad de medida como la gran mayoría.

Ces 2 dernières années j'ai pu testé diverses balances dont 3 du site amazon qui vont d'une 20aine d'euros a cette dernière a 45 euros environ dans la gamme 2kg pour des utilisations diverses (grains café, levure, patisserie ..) demandant de la précision mais également stabilité et fiabilité. Cette balance est la meilleure de sa catégorie et de loin. J'ai donné les 2 autres a mes enfants. Les gros avantages de celle ci comparé aux autres sont: - Bouton extinction - stabilité et fiabilité des pesées effectuées. Malgré les diverses retraits des masses, elle m'indique a chaque fois la même pesée et surtout sur toute la surface du plateau. Rare pour ce type de balance a moins de 50 euros. - la protection silicone protectrice. Par contre je n'utilise pas de compteur auto de la balance, je préfère le compteur de ma cafetière sage qui s'arrête automatiquement. Je peux juste dire que la mise en fonction du compteur est plus simple que sur les autres testés jusqu'à présent.
