The case softens the hard edges of the case and has perfect notches around the phone to still access the headphone jack without impeding connections and lets you press the triggers without impediment. I can't speak for how well it protects against drops, although I don't think it'll do much for that, but as far as the quality it's a lot better than the included case and feels good to hold.The case gives the buttons a lot better of a click to them. It makes the volume buttons discernible and adds some feedback to them while still keeping the feel separate from the power button. The grip of the material is great. It's not going to slip out of your hand under normal use.One thing I don't like is how dark the back is. One of the things I love about the Red Magic 9 Pro is the design and this covers it up considerably, but it is still translucent enough to see it- just barely.Overall it's a great case. Keeps the style of the phone and makes it better.

I just bought the RedMagic 9 phone and this case is better than the one the phone comes with, and better than the case sold on the RedMagic website. It doesn't show fingerprints and has a nice matte feeling to it. The dark gray keeps the phone with a low profile look while keeping the whole body of the phone protected. The other cases don't cover the sides so you can attach other accessories, but if you're not interested in those this case is perfect for you.

Nice looking case. The semi transparent back along with the matte sides looks good. The only issue is this case is super loose. I wouldn't recommend.
