Laser Tools 6612 - Oil/Fuel Filter Wrench

Firstly the tool fits the honda accord fuel filter perfectly, if your looking for it to fit the oil filter it’s too big for that. Secondly it comes with a metal collar that attaches the centre of the tool to the cardboard packaging that will need to be removed, use pliers to compress it and pull it out. Third it’s 3/8” so if your using 1/2” stuff like me your gonna need a 1/2” female to 3/8” male adapter. Works great, if your doing it clean out the bottom of the fuel bowl too.

If you are taking out a fuel filter for a Honda 2014 2.2 diesel, this is your tool. Once you have removed the plastic engine cove, air cleaner, the air box, and crash clamp, you reach the fuel filter, buried at the back of the engine bay. Then disconnect the fuel line and take out the rubber cover. This tool fits over the fuel filter snugly and you have to make sure it is down tight before you attempt to loosen the top. My filter cover was super tight, I had to use a 3ft strong arm to remove it, inch by inch, and even then any uneven application of pressure caused it to slip off (hence 4 stars, but I suspect that is 1 star lost due to Honda design). Without this tool, considering how tight the cap was I suspect I would have damaged the component. A note, the packaging has a circular retaining clip, so the hole for your reach appears circular, use a pair of snipe nose pliers and remove the metal and hidden beneath is a nice squire tench hole. I would strongly advise buying this tool if you are attempting to change your fuel filter, it is well made, fits/works well and makes a difficult job that bit easier, at little cost.

I can not fault delivery, arrived as stated. However the website needs to be amended because the diameter is to large to fit the version 8 Honda Accord 2.2 diesel (08- 12). On the plus side. The return of product was free. I was surprised to find when I got returns info, "no need to return the product and refund issued". Thank you so much Amazon.

Chiave perfetta per smontare il filtro gasolio della mia Honda Accord del 2011, senza di essa sarebbe praticamente impossibile! Ho letto in alcune recensioni che non ha l'attacco per il cricchetto... Niente di più sbagliato, bisogna solamente togliere la clip di alluminio che fissa la chiave al cartone con cui è spedita e facendo questa piccola operazione trovate la sede da 3/8 per il cricchetto.
