Catastrophic failure after 3 minutes of use
Failed catastrophically, 3 minutes into the first time used. I was so excited to not have to use the hand pump, now I am unbelievably disappointed - this thing was not cheap! As per instructions, I connected the hose to the board, then the cables to the battery, then set the dial to the max pressure.I pressed the "ON" button, and amazingly, the board started to inflate! As it plumped up, I sat back to watch the miracle unfold. Then, without warning, it sounded like a shaken bucket of bolts, squealed a few seconds, almost stopped, then the sound changed to a high pitched whine and the board stopped inflating.Removing the hose confirmed it: No air coming out.Now after using it for 3 minutes, I have a $100 paperweight.SELLER: Do the right thing, please send me a replacement. I live in the Bahamas, so cannot send this one back.UPDATE: Seller immediately refunded my money, so I have increased my rating from 1 to 4 stars.

Hoses are not durable.
We used the pump 5 times. On the 6 th time the hose ruptured and now it’s useless. I don’t know how to get a new hose. Help.

Don't purchase this piece of junk!
Stay away from this piece of junk! The plastic impeller on the low-pressure side of the pump failed after about one hour of use. When I disassembled the pump the plastic had melted and some of the blades had fragmented sending white plastic debris into my brand new dinghy. Other owners of the DTP12 have reported similar failure of the high pressure piston assembly.I've previously owned other Bravo electric pumps and manual foot pumps with great success, but they were not manufactured in China like this particular model. So far I've had no luck purchasing a replacement part and it looks like this purchase will be a total loss. Other reviewers online comment that the Bravo 20 (made in Italy) has a much better service record, but at about twice the price. Stay away from this lemon!

SHORT BUT VERY EXPENSIVE LIFE
Pump worked great twice. A year later (stored high and dry), using it third time it doesn't work . The main pump motor stopped working !
