Purchased for cracked, dry heals to wear both during they day and at night. Great addition to my foot care regimen. Helped to moisturize and prevent additional dryness from direct contact with floors/carpet, and rubbing my heels on my sheets when I sleep! Noticed a difference within a week with steady use. This product has been a lifesaver. In the past my socks always whipped away the moisturizing cream that I used but this was able to keep it on my feet overnight so they could heal. I highly recommend the socks and I highly recommend using the duo that I have pictured. Both Gold Bond diabetic foot cream and moisturizing Hill socks go together like The Lone Ranger and Tonto.

Toeless socks with a gel pad in the heel. Wouldn’t have thought that’s a thing, but it is.Here’s how to use them to keep your heels from cracking, guys. First, it’s best to get some good moisturizing cream or balm. At night, you get a good layer on your heels. It’s ok for it to not all soak in, that’s what the fell pads are for: keeping it from soaking through the socks. Once you’ve rubbed some heel cream in, pull these on and go to bed. That’s it. The sock and gel will keep the moisturizer in place so it can work all night.During the summer, I’m always getting cracked heels, and in just two nights these socks have reduced the calluses and significantly softened my heels.

Perfect fit for my slim ladies' size 8.5 foot (not too loose or tight). I can't stand tightness on my feet anyway so I purposely picked a men's size and these are perfect. Would definitely have room to spare if you're a lady with slightly larger or longer feet and debating on fit.As others have stated, they are weird to walk on with the "gel" heel coating, but the layer there isn't gel like squishy hair gel, it's like soft, waterproof rubber layer. I just walk with the weight on my toes if ibneed to get out of bed for a moment. The gel aspect was hard for me to figure out with the description and reviews, hopefully this helps another understand better. No actual product (lotion or gel) comes on the sock, you'll want to apply whatever you want to your feet first, the sock keeps the chosen product on your foot/heel without seeping through the sock.Definitely recommend!

They work ok, not as well as some

I should have taken before and after photos. But I’ll tell you this. There used to be a distinct scratchy noise when I go into bed from my heals on the sheets. Fixed. Also, my wife used to be in danger….She is now safe from an accidental sanding.

Got these for my partner - he’s had cracked heels for years and Im worried about infections (he walks barefoot a lot). Usually he pays little attention to one of my such purchases, but this time he seemed intrigued and gave it a try…(note, also got him a urea balm so he’s using these together). He says these socks are very comfortable and seem to be helping. Also, he can continue walking semi-barefoot with the comfort of toes exposed but then these protect his heels. Win-win.

Have a lot of trouble with cracked heels and cream doesn’t stay on long enough to do its job. These socks are amazing! After a couple of nights my heels are greatly improved. Comfortable to wear and being toeless cool in bed.

Work from home had one side effect- cracked heels. These definitely worked to smoothen and go crack-free in just abt a month. Buying it again now, since the inner gel wore out in abt four months since I purchased. But I recommend a buy on this.

Having very dry heels and cracks during the low humidity and my Type2, I have been looking for a way to stop the pain when another crack splits open and gets infected. Sorry, to be so detailed. This has been bothering me for at least 5 years and I could put on tons of ointment and creams and nothing seem to resolve it. Wearing socks was the only other option, but I don't want to be the dude walking around with socks and sandals. After the first day, my heals were no longer sore, I also did not have neuropathy pains last night (hence a good sleep). I just changed them and I am just elated. I am a size 13 and the XL fit nicely. The material inside the sock is absorbing the cream and keeps the heels moist. Socks are also stretchy, but because of the gel material they stay in place.
