You get what you pay for.
I had purchased an inexpensive set of brad-point drill bits from China and returned them. The brad tips were awful and the grinding inconsistent. These Fisch bits are excellent. The tips are sharp and true, and the grinding on each bit is accurate and consistent. If precision in drilling is a requirement, spend the money, get these drill bits and cry only once.

Great buy
High quality drill bits for a very reasonable price.

Clean, crisp holes
I've have a set of Fisch Forstner bits which were pricey, but worth every penny. So I got these brad point bits, which are also not cheap, but they cut cleanly into hard woods like teak or hard maple as well as soft and woods like cheap pine dimensional lumber. As a woodworker, I rarely have a call for conventional point bits, so these brad points have become my go-to bits. I first bought an imperial set, but liked them so much that it was worth the cost of another set for when I do metric work.

Good bits, cheap case
Drill bits are nice and sharp but the case is cheap plastic and arrived in about 4 separate broken pieces. The case still protected the bits however

Great drills from Austria
Well made and true to size drill set.

Cut great!
I needed some metric sizes, so I bought these after reading some recommendations. It became painfully obvious I had never used any bits that weren't already worn and abused in the community shop, and weren't the ones I bought from Harbor Freight. They were straight, sharp, and cut wood like butter, effortlessly and without burning. I immediately requested the imperial version for Christmas. I did not get them- I'll have to gift those to myself.

Is it possible to love a drill bit? These bits cut wood like a knife through melted butter.
Sturdy, well-machined bits. They come in a really high-quality case. I bought both metric and SAE sets. No problems drilling through oak, cherry, or maple so far. I spritz a bit of Blade Coat on them before using (highly recommended), then wipe them down before storing, and they don't miss a beat. I even absent-mindedly chewed right through a hidden backside knot in maple without a noticeable dip in the RPMs of my cordless drill. Take care of these bits and I'm certain they will last a long time. Really good bits.

Made in China
I contacted Fisch about these. They said they were made in China but Quality Control [oversight] is in Austria. As someone else mentioned, any Fisch bits actually manufactured in Austria or Germany are stamped (on the shaft) indicating they ARE made in Austria or Germany. No stamp of where manufactured? Well, take a guess then, but Austria and Germany it aint.
