Nice book that I enjoyed reading with my class

This is a lovely little book. The boy in it is depicted in black and white ink drawings but as he imagines the world of the Cowboys as he plays, his imagination is shown in red ink. It's a great story

My 4yr old is generally a super hero, but saw a cowboy cartoon the other day and thought it as fantastic. This book is wonderful plainly drawn, which was tough for a child who is used to brightly coloured books, but listened to the story and asked so many questions. His imagination play is wonderful to watch and also to get involved with.

2nd generation now loving this little book. All 3 of my grandsons have a copy, read to them each night by their Daddies ( my 3 sons) and they all like to help the coyote howl at the moon !

What a great book for any youngster with an imagination but who isn't really interested in learning to read..This book will definately open their eyes to the joy a reading,
