Gets the job done
While yes this works and gets the job done, I didn't see much of a difference between this and other antennas I have used. Plenty of channels with pretty clear picture, with easy set up just make sure you put near a window for best result. It is aesthetically pleasing compared to most antennas.

Good compromise between looks and utility
I've been using this TV antenna, and it's been pretty effective. Living in a metro area, I initially wondered about its utility, but it's managed to pick up all the standard channels without any trouble. The design is a real plus. It's got a neat form factor that allows it to sit unobtrusively on my entertainment stand. This is great because it avoids the need to have a flat panel antenna mounted on the wall, which can disrupt the room's aesthetic. It blends in well with my other devices, maintaining a clean and organized look in my living space. This antenna is a good fit for anyone in a decent signal area who prefers their tech to be both functional and discreet. It strikes that balance nicely, providing the necessary service without becoming a focal point in the room.

Clear Picture on Many Over the Air Channels - For Free!
I want to see if the "HIDB TV Antenna for Smart TV Indoor, 360 ° & 120 Miles Long Range Reception Antenna" could pick up Channel 8, our local CBS station in San Diego County (Southern California). At first, I got no reception. I put the magnetic base on a cast iron pan and I was able to get mixed results. I am including one picture of the digital noise I first got, then after moving the pan/antenna around I got a little better reception, though the signal drops out a fair amount. Many other stations both from San Diego and also from Mexico come in crystal clear! I am really impressed how the small antenna can pull in signals, as well as cable TV signals.I connected the cable and USB A to the back of my LG Smart TV, searched the available channels and found 49 free over the air stations. There are a good selection including classic movie channels, public broadcasting, court and other topic-specific channels. I also have a number of very clear stations from Mexico which is very useful when looking for a soccer game that may not be broadcast in the US. The same is true for watching the Olympics and other broadcasts that have a different type of coverage from the US.The HIDB mentions "outdoor" which could be useful for setting up a football game outside under the gazebo. While the HIDB didn't do very well with Channel 8, I think it's a very small, powerful way to bring in clear signals for free over the air reception. I think the Channel 8 signal may be more of the cause of poor reception than anything about this very amazing little antenna. I'll continue trying different locations and if I can get Channel 8 I will update my review. I recommend this as a great way to save money over expensive cable bills AND to reach into neighboring TV markets to see more than cable might provide.I am including pictures I took with my iPhone of my LG Smart TV using the HIDB antenna (while my cable TV was disconnected).

It's not bad but I've definitely seen beter
The HIDB TV Antenna is a decent option for those seeking an affordable indoor antenna. While it's not without its merits, it falls short in comparison to other models I've tested. On the positive side, its installation is hassle-free, and the design is sleek and unobtrusive, making it a suitable choice for any living space. However, its performance leaves something to be desired for me. Despite its promise of providing access to numerous channels, the reality is quite different. The number of channels it picks up is limited, and the signal tends to be unstable, resulting in frequent interruptions during viewing. I should note though that connection speed is dependent on your location and how far away the broadcast towers are from you. Sometimes even moving the antenna to a different room can make all the difference. So my experience may be due to my distance. In summary, while the HIDB TV Antenna for Smart TV Indoor Antenna isn't bad by any means, it doesn't quite meet the standard set by other antennas I've tried. Its limited channel selection and unstable signal detract from its overall value. If you're looking for reliability and a wider range of channels, you should give it a try but understand that local factors may make it perfect or not for you.
