Excellent for safeguarding precious photos
I temporarily put my photo albums into regular boxes and then in a closet for six months while we were in between houses. Even though they were in an air conditioned space they still developed mold. Now that they will be permanently stored I wanted a safer box. These bankers boxes perfectly fit the bill. Along with acid free tissue paper and some silica packets I am confident my photos will be preserved. The instructions were clear for assembling and I like the fact that the bottom is doubled to add strength. I definitely recommend. Worth the extra money for the peace of mind.

Archival Bankers Box
Easy to put together. My documents and books that I stored in regular bankers boxes (in a drive-up storage unit) developed mold. I don't know if that would happen with these archival boxes, but I went through a process to remove the mold from my books and am putting them in these boxes.

Good boxes, not good for Vinyl Records
Wanted them to transport vinyl records (with sleeves) during moving. But the 12 inch side isn't wide enough for how big record sleeves are these days, and the 15 inch side is a bit too wide to where the records slide around.A 12x14 inch would be much better for that purpose.Good boxes for books though.

Do not buy these boxes
Out of a package of 5 boxes, I was only able to use 2 of them as the others were not cut square and when trying to fold them into a box, ended up more of a trapezoid shape, not square and therefore could not be used.

Pricey but nice.
I did a pH test and they were acid-free.
