I saw this and just had to get it! This crimper has the large barrels and makes an awesome wave in your hair.It heats up quickly and us very easy to use. The only con I had was that it takes a very long time to finish my hair, but that's because my hair is down to my waist. Bit the finished product is so awesome that I have actually used it on my whole head quite a few times.

I have seen these "odd" curling irons all over the place and really wanted to try one. When one surprised me by showing up on Vine, I took the plunge. I'm glad I did. This is a great appliance - it heats up quickly and evenly. It provides you with several different heat settings so you can choose what temperature is right for your hair type. It really does what it says - and it does it effortlessly. My problem with it is that it isn't for me. I should have known. I have naturally curly/wavy hair, and when I use this, I have to straighten my hair when I dry it, then use this mermaid curler. It's a lot of work. This is much better suited to someone who either has straighter hair or doesn't mind the extra work. If you are a high-maintenance girlie, this is your tool! Unfortunately, I want to be done getting ready with my hair as soon as I can. Using heat tools just makes me hot and impatient. That said, this is a fantastic appliance and would work well for someone who wants those "beachy waves." I guess I just don't care enough to use it. It also may be that my hair is too long - it's well below my shoulders, so using this just gets tedious. I will pass it along to my daughter, who has stick-straight hair and a shorter style. Don't let my use affect your decision - this really is a great product. It just isn't for me.

I was excited to try this beach weaver. However, on the first use the metal stand broke off. The buttons are cheap and one popped off while trying to turn it on. The handle is cheap plastic and the plates are poor quality. It didn’t heat evenly at all. I’m not sure if I got a defective product or the quality is just cheap. I would not recommend this product. There are better quality options out there.

I was impressed with this curling iron right out of the box. It has a heavy feel to it and you can tell it is a quality tool. In the box there was also a heat protection glove, two hair clips, and a comb. The iron itself has a nice digital display which shows you the temperature in real time. I like the swivel cord as well, which makes it easier to work on your hair without getting twisted up. There are different heat settings up to 450 degrees. I found that it worked really well even on the lowest setting. This is a really good iron for beginners and the triple barrel makes it fast to get your whole head done. The first time I played around with it I was done with all of my hair in about 10 minutes. I had a different hair waver in the past that was harder to use as you had to try to line your next curl up with the previous ones or it would look odd. This isn't an issue with this tool, which makes it so much faster and easier. Overall this is really nice and I would recommend it.
