Ordered this and it arrived next day.Installation took a max 15mins including plugging back in and turning on. Moving games across to the SSD is mind-blowingly quick.I moved 7 games across in less than 5 mins!Very happy, with the price and quality.

This was one of the cheaper (but not the very cheapest) options at the time of purchase, but the fit, functionality, and performance seems to match the most expensive items with better-known brand names.Fitting it was super easy as Sony designed the PS5 that way. All told it took about 90 seconds and that included opening and closing the console casing. Just be CERTAIN that in your eager rush you FIRST turn the console on and then use the shut down menu to power the console OFF before you unplug the power cable.After installation the console will invite you to format the new storage, that takes only a coupleof minutes or so.This SSD claims a read/write speed of up to 7200/6500MB/s. My example reported a speed of 6200MB/s, and I cannot recall whether it specified that as a reading or writing speed. But it doesn’t matter as the PS5 existing SSD has a maximum speed of 5500MB/s, so anything faster than that exceeds the native performance.The only long term question is whether this SSD will match the very high maximum number of read/write cycles of the entire drive space claimed by pricier models. But given that the space will mostly be used for permanent game software storage, the console and drive will likely be sent for recycling long before even getting close to drive cycle fatigue failures.No fitting screw is supplied, and none is needed. The fitting bay inside the PS5 already has a screw (and spacer) ready and waiting.

I am very happy with this SSD. I installed it in my PS5 with minimal effort and time. The accompanying installation instructions were very good. I also watched a youtube video, which I’d recommend, but you could easily do the job by just following the supplied instructions.The hardest part was removing the outer “fins” on the PS5 to access the hard drive cover, which is nothing to do with the product. I was a liitle nervous about accidentally breaking the covers whilst removing them, but it just needs a confident push downwards to release them (again I checked out a video first to be certain of the correct method)The actual SSD looks like a quality product and once installed and formatted works perfectly. I get loading speeds of 6300 mbs, which I think seems quicker than a the standard SSD. I’d absolutely recommend this SSD, it works flawlessly and the benefit of 2TB of extra storage is invaluable. The price is very good too, being cheaper than other similar spec SSDs. Very pleased!

Very easy to fit the quality is excellent 5* all day long

Managed to grab the 2TB for £99 whilst on sale, bargain price compared to £200+ brand named ssds I was looking at to expand my PS5 space. Was so easy to install. My only confusion was it says 7200mb/s reading speed, but once formatted on my PS5 it says my read speed is 6300mb/s, I'm not SUPER techy, so it might just be me misunderstanding something here? However, it's still faster than the PS5's read speed of 5500mb/s so likely, I'll have nothing to complain about. Havent actually booted a game up from it yet, but honestly, I just wanted the extra storage for more games for a reasonable price and now I have it. Really happy as I had to start un/reinstalling games, and already had a 500GB external hard drive dedicated just to my ps4 games (as I don't care about speeds for them), so now I finally have room for all my ps5 games and more! Yay!

When 90% full speeds drop, but not under 1000 mb/s, which is still extremely impressive. TLC as expected. When empty delivers almost promised speed. Very good value for money. Radiator is good, but temp can get up to 73 c if really heavily used (copying 1700+ gb of data). This is the case with all pci 4 ssd, but just be careful with it

At first, I thought it wasn't working properly. It took a long time to move the first game from the PS5 to the SSD. The second time was much faster. The first time I played a game saved on the SSD, it was very glitchy, especially the audio, which was very delayed. So, I rebuilt the PS5 database, and after that, everything ran much smoother. I suggest doing the same. The product works well. (God of War Ragnarok) ran so smoothly. I love this item!It has now been a year since I started using it, and I am extremely happy with it. The quality is top-notch, and the design is amazing, even if you won't see it anymore after installation.
