Great value and very useful to have in the house
So far so good. They are pretty lightweight but they nevertheless seem to be well made and solidly built. They are nice and neat when put into the socket. And being white blend just fine in any colour environment.Really simple to use - basically plug and play. I use mine with the selector switch set to off as I do not require the night light function. You have to leave them plugged in for 24 hours before playing with them. The options and use is very simple. They charge when plugged in. During any period where the electricity supply is constant the light stays off, (unless you have nightlight turned on or decide to use it).In both cases, wether you remove it from the cradle to use it as a torch or if there is an interruption in the mains supply, the top LED's turn on (on low power) and serve very nicely as an uplighter, (while still cradled), or a torch (when removed), enabling you to move around safely. If you then want more light one press of the power button puts the torch into full brightness. One more press puts it into the flashing mode - though what use this is, is anyone's guess and the next press turns it off.It is worth noting that should you replace this torch back into the cradle whilst the mains are still off, the torch will stay lit in whatever mode it is in at the time. (Oddly, even when it is turned off - it will stay off when put back into the cradle which is something that I did not expect). So in a power cut make sure it is turned on in any mode before replacing it into its cradle. If you do this whilst the power is restored then it will turn off and go back to charging. These are not as bright as my previous emergency lights which had a motion sensor on them, but they were a different brand with a forward facing diffused light. But these new ones are amply bright enough to easily find your way around in a power cut.The pack of three is a very good price too considering the price of a single one is £20.I am more than happy that these will do the job perfectly well in the event of a power failure.UPDATE: July 2022 now, both are still working perfectly (I test them once a week by turning the point they are plugged into off) and one remains unused as a spare in the cupboard.

Excellent reliable emergency light or torch.
Excellent, reliable emergency light or torch. They are neat and unobtrusive, and perform exactly as they should. They really do come on in the event of a power failure or if removed from the charger/holder and work as a versatile torch/worklight, always fully charged. They can be used as a dusk-activated nightlight (with choice of brightness) but also - unlike some other models - can be set to remain off overnight, which we particularly like. We have used these for over two years in a holiday rental property and our guests clearly like them - we hear that they have gone on to get their own for home use.

Rechargeable nightlight/torch
Useful item to have incase of a power cut, can set to come on automatically at night to act as a nightlight, with adjustable two stage light setting.Would definitely recommend. Also able to use just as torch, when needed, handy to have a fully charged torch incase of emergencies

Very impressed with these!
These feel good quality. They’re very easy to use and the lights are really bright on the highest setting. Excellent that you can stand the torch on a workbench and have the light shine down onto your project. One extra advantage in the design of these versus others is that our wall sockets are set at floor level so these plug in with the torch sitting in the plugged-in charger: other designs sit through the charger and would only suit wall sockets set higher. There is no motion detection on these lights but that’s not a feature I needed.

Brilliant Item
Excuse the pun. Very bright unit. Keep on by the front door so grab it when out with the dogs. Great in the house for power cuts as i set it to come on only when power lost. I have used the motion senor as well which is very good . All in a well priced and really useful item.

Versatile and reliable!
We bought these primarily for our elderly mother, but kept one for our own use. Brilliant idea, multifunction on the torch! Always charged and torch ready in the case of a power cut, always have a powerful torch to hand. Different settings, very bright, to dimmed and flashing and different angles. Light activated night light which comes on in the dark!

Bought six units, two not working after just over two months
Can't see an option to contact the seller so I guess I'll have to write a review. While I have not needed to use these in a power cut situation yet, I did notice that two of the torches unexpectedly came on. Using one of the other units that was working as expected I narrowed down the point of failure to the plug base unit - it seems to no longer be registering the power as "on". The torches still work but I will need to swap them in to the remaining four working base units to maintain charge.I suppose I am lucky to have noticed when the torches came on. Had they been allowed to discharge unnoticed then I would have had no idea this had happened until the power failed and I needed them most. Doesn't fill me with a whole lot of confidence in the remaining four and having spent £108 on two triple packs I am less than impressed by the quality of these items. Can't recommend these.
