Great, except for the packaging. Comes in that annoying plasticky sealed thing, so you need sharp scissors to open it. But other than that, a trusted brand, and it does exactly what it's intended to do. Don't expect it to stop someone who really wants in to your bag, though. Merely to prevent people opening it uneccessarily.

Bought this product as the usual,travel padlocks break after a few uses , this is a good quality product and works well with a smooth efficient action .The set up is a bit difficult to understand as pictures only but once you realise the system works effectivelyA good upgrade that is robust and I have used already for a trip with no issuesI recommend this product

Solid and easy to use, cable ends are small enough to go through my zips, often the cable width is quoted but they decline to mention sometimes they have large cable connections which wont thread through anything,

Purchased because its made by YALE so thought i was buying a good brand with years of good history.This lock is poorly made.The first lock failed on our first trip abroad, the bottom of the lock lost what looked like a small screw from the outer shell resulting in the lock actually splitting open.OK things sometimes go wrong.Amazon were brilliant as they offered a full refund or replacement..I opted for a replacement which arrived promptly.On our second trip abroad the replacement lock has also failed, this time the lock is splitting from the top which made it difficult to open, not good after 17 hours of travel.(Nearly got to the point of cutting a £140 suitcase to get in )That said i thought i would return for a refund but i can not seem to do that via my account. option for refund or return are no longer visible.Come on YALE your better than this.

Neat & well built, easy to use.

This little lock was purchased to lock a gate latch. The only possible way was to insert the bar part of a padlock through a hole in the latch nothing I could find would work as there was either not enough room to do the padlock up or the bar on the lock was to big, happily found this lock which suited my purpose. Instead of a solid bar there's a strong wire which fitted perfectly, so one happy customer.

Use on a gym locker, not had a break in yet so can't comment on security. Think it will be fine though as gym lockers are like tin cans anyway so will likely break before the lock itself!

Unfortunately mine locked and stayed locked after its 3rd use and couldn't get it off my box, as I'd used it for work I had to cut the thing off but that took close to 25 minutes so it's a strong lock if it doesn't break
