It's really hard to find a book written on Arabic architecture housing, this is the only one I've come across, that is filled with diagrams and images that are clearly explained, describing many features and it's importance. This gem has been so useful in my project! I really recommend it to anyone interested in finding out about this area of architecture.

Loved it. It's a book I pick up now and again and flick thru, even though I know every page. Love it, love it, love it.

It's more complete than expected. The technical presentation helps understand how thousands of years old contruction methods are still quite ahead of the common practices today.I advise this work to anyone who has interest in sustainable architecture.
