This worked great for our deck we built aroung a hot tub, with the added water from hot tub location I wanted to protect the deck frame more. Originally I purchsed some from hardware store, but it was more expensive and has white printing on the whole backing that shows through between planks. Much prefer these with the all black backing and cheaper cost. These seemed to have better adhesion and stretching capabilities then the hardware store verision as well.

I delayed my review to ensure it’s working. 3 months after I installed it I had to lift a deck board and underneath there was no water or anything not concerned with the rot under my deck boards anymore. Good product would buy again for a new deck.

It’s not the stickiest I’ve used but it works,took 6 rolls to do an 12x12 deck with blocking.

Much cheaper than even the single rolls in stores. The fact that the packaging doesn't leave an option to store it after opening would be my only complaint

This butyl tape is just like all the others, it doesnt stick to anything unless its really hot outside and it is really hard to use with the layer of plastic backing that you have to remove to use the tape. I would recommend just use Zip tape as it is easier and more convenient. It also conforms to things much better. This tape is a headache.
