Great Tester for the Price, especially for Analog and IP Cameras (It's a CCTV Tester, people!)
Rather than harp on what I don't like [which isn't much] or nit-pick everything I could find "wrong" with this unit, I'll just stick to what I use it for and that which has already paid for this device multiple times over. I'm in the IT field and cover many aspects of it from LV Cabling, to Fiber, to full Network Installations and, yep, CAMERA System Installations and Repair! Of the above, I bought this unit SPECIFICALLY for CAMERAS which is what it is billed for--a CCTV Camera Tester. Yes, it does a lot of things, but for cameras this thing is awesome! I've literally earned dozens of times over what I paid for it just because I have it. No CCTV tester, no CCTV/Camera work. That's the long and short of it. If it broke tomorrow I'd buy another one immediately. A single, decent camera gig will more than pay for it, so IMHO, it's worth every penny. That said, I've had this unit for almost two years w/o any real problems. There's a BNC connector on board that could use some TLC, but honestly, this thing has weathered quite a bit of use and just keeps on working. Updates are easy to download over wifi or wired connection and seem to be regularly released. I've not had to deal with tech-support, so no comment on that.IP Cameras are a cinch to configure with just this device. No need to know the IP info of the cam, just plug it into the PoE port on this unit and it will find it, tell you the IP (or IPs--some cams have multiple IPs) and allow you to view its image, change IP settings, user name, password, etc. It will scan entire networks for cameras if you need it too. There's so much this can do w/cams!Analog cameras are quick and painless (mostly--depends on the camera, not the tester), especially the CVBS standard. Very easy to find the video stream format (CVBS, TVI, etc) and it automatically senses and selects NTSC or PAL.I'll mention also that I've used the HDMI (and BNC) functions a number of times to either view a stream or send a test signal to a TV/PVM. As it's a 4k screen, it makes a great field monitor (with built-in speaker) if you can see the fine print.... It's been a life-saver more than once!Last note I'll add is for the DVM functions. They work just fine. Very accurate, sensitive and responsive. Can easily see minor voltage drops due to cable length, noise (from A/C interference), check for positive/negative voltage, etc. Must-have functions when troubleshooting camera systems.I can't speak for anyone else's experience, but mine has been excellent thus far. I've not tried to find another/replacement battery for it, but if need be and I can't find a direct replacement, it'd be VERY easy to use a kickin' external battery pack from any one of a number of vendors which would let this puppy run for days on a single charge. To any who decide to go in on this, I wish you all the best and many happy customers!

Great tool for troubleshooting small network issues
So far so good. Let me even check 48v cameras (Avigilon). The network tool is a plus. If you also have Hikvision cameras then you don’t need to look further. I have this tool 2 weeks now and I have no complaints.

Don't waste your money
Works great until it doesn't work anymore. Trying to get support on the product is virtually impossible. There is no one to contact and no one to help update the product when it needs updating and it won't update through the supposed website that won't update it. The manufacturer is literally inaccessible. Now the tool locks up as soon as you plug in a Poe camera and won't function. which makes it virtually useless.

No support
Used it a year and it was great while it lasted. But it stopped taking a charge, won't even power up while plugged in. No support at all from the company. They have a service email and 48 hours later still no response. For the price this should be better. Used the unit a lot but it was babied never once dropped or abused and it just stopped working with no reason. Things happen but with no support to get it fixed what's the point spending the money.
