Surprisingly comfortable, warm, and efficient...
Bought these (black, split toe, medium) for running rivers and general canoeing and water activities. I used them a few times on warm day short paddles, as with my light hybrid canoe you have to be in the water to get in the canoe. Was quite pleased at how comfortable they were and how well they fit, with no bumps at seams to irritate. The over-the-calf height is perfect and more comfortable than if standard crew sock height.I used them again in mid Sept on a five-day river trip along the Canadian border, where the benefits of these Therms Wetsox really became apparent.Trying them with two different types of water shoes (Keen water sandals and DOUSSPRT Men's Aqua Shoes), I was surprised at how comfortably warm they kept my feet on cold mornings, even when soaking wet. They don't feel soggy or cold. Didn't feel like they were slipping in my water shoes at all, either, and lent a sense of increased grip and cushion when pushing off rocks and climbing on root-laden shores, etc.Took a bit to dry at the end of the day, cool as it was, though after turning them inside out and flipping them a few times near the fire, they were ready to go for the next morning. Can't speak to how they are with wet suits, though for my purposes of running rivers, in and out of canoes all day, exploring side creeks and marshes on foot, being soaked up to our knees and clambering around rough shores, these Therms Wetsox have earned a permanent place with my canoe gear.

Poor fit and design
Unfortunately, while I had great hopes for these thermal socks for under my wetsuit, they fell quite short. The toe area seems to be designed for a 2-toed sloth, not a person - impossible to get toes into. These are supposed to help ease access into that awkward winter wetsuit, but while they do help a little in sliding in, getting them on you feet is just like getting into the wetsuit itself (the inside is not slippery enough for skin contact). And if you wear booties, it’s not that much easier to get in and out of those either. So overall, this should not have been complex design process but they seem to have fallen short. It’s a shame. I really wanted these to work.

Great surf gear
I really like the Wetsox, they make putting on my booties and wetsuit easier and especially make taking off the booties after surfing a lot easier. The 1mm neoprene helps insulate my feet a bit more in the cold water, which is also a plus. Really the only thing I don't like is how small the toe box in the sock is, especially the big toe, which constricts my toes a bit more than I like, but if you have skinny toes this really won't be a big deal. But even with that, the socks are very flexible and you don't really notice much when you are in the water. Overall this i a great product and would recommend them to anyone that will be wearing a full wet suit and booties in cool/cold water.

Great layer!
Thse help add a little warmth in the chilly water and help to get my wetsuit on. I wear these for diving and surfing, definitely recommend!!

Extra warmth when needed!
Wore these with a 5/4 thermal lined wetsuit in 44° ocean with 7mm dive boots. Never felt cold!

nice product with a flaw....can be tooo silky
I'd give it a 3.75 star rating if I could. These definitely add a bit of warmth under booties, they are very comfortable, and they do help to get your wetsuit off with less struggling. However, while surfing i've already had a couple of experiences of my booty and leash sliding right off of the sock at my foot/ankle. This occured while bailing after a ride and larger waves pulling my board when I can't keep it with me (and no, I am not one to commonly just bail my board). I have twice found myself swimming to shore to retrieve my board only to find the velcro on my leash strap still wrapped (i.e it wasn't leash velcro failure as my booty was half off my foot too). And yes, this actually did happen twice. I like this product for the previously mentioned attributes and will probably continue to use it....but I know to beware on bigger days and be sure to go extra snug on leash and booty strap!

The best!
The company changed from wetsox to worn. Now, these are hard to come by. They are fantastic at getting into and out of a wetsuit and boots! Plus the 1 mil thickness helps snug up my boots since I am a true half size and surf boots only come in full size.
