Ha! I finally did it: I purchased a thing based on the strength of a (semi-)sponsored review! Usually I pay no attention to those, but... this one was a video review, and it won me over! Once I heard those bells, I had to hear them for myself again in person.And... I really love these chimes! I love the wind chimes I already own, too, but they're much smaller—they're "city" chimes!—and I wanted a less-expensive set for the front patio of our new house here in the suburbs. I wanted a way to announce to the neighbors "we live here! We're home!" But price also played a factor in my purchase because, I don't know, is there such a thing as "wind-chime thieves"?? Probably not, but my other chimes were from my mom, and I didn't want to risk it.The first thing that surprised me about these chimes is the way they catch the wind. I guess that sounds silly on its face, but it takes an almost gale-force wind to get my temple bells to start singing, you know? These chimes, however, start chiming even in a light breeze, and I can hear them from inside my kitchen, about twenty-five feet away.Another reviewer described them as "not twinkly," which is accurate. My Woodstock chimes are, by comparison, twinkly, and I would describe my temple bells as "dulcet." These chimes, however, are "sonorous." They aren't, like, incredibly loud and annoying or anything like that. They don't clang or gong or whatever. They're just... nice. They're crowd-pleasers. I was delighted when, recently, the fellow who was fixing up our front porch suddenly complimented me on my wind chimes. He said, emphatically, "Those are GREAT wind chimes," and I just beamed.I'm actually scrolling through other reviews as I write this one, and maybe other folks are saying the chimes don't hold up that well? Hmm. I have my chimes hanging from a beam under a covered patio, so I'm less concerned about weathering. I guess the whole point, for me, of spending a little less on these chimes, was so I wouldn't be too upset if something awful ever happened to them. But... well, I think by now I'm so attached to them, I WOULD be disappointed if they ever fell apart, because I really DO like them a lot. At this price point they're certainly replaceable, though. I guess that's something you'll have to weigh for yourself. If my feelings change, I will definitely update my review, but at this time I feel that US$18 is an incredible value for the sounds you get.Anyway! As of now, I am definitely a happy customer, and I agree that they are perfect "patio" chimes. I think you could definitely brighten the day of passing dog-walkers and kids running up and down the street, et al. I think I'll enjoy them even more in the summer, once it gets to be outdoor weather and people are all firing up their barbecues. But I've certainly enjoyed them this winter, too.I'm not sure if the material you pick makes a difference to the sound, but—after much hemming and hawing—I went with the medium-sized matte silver chimes.

I grew up with wind chimes around me and love listen to them. I absolutely love these Freedom chimes. My family and I spend a lot of evenings outside and listening to the wind chimes is very soothing and calming. I ordered the black ones. They arrive in a beautiful box that make them easy to give as a gift but I promise once you hear the soothing sound that they make you will want to keep them. They measure about 29” from the hanging ring to the bottom of them. There are 6 aluminum tubes that hang from it. The wind chime is made of good quality material and is well put together. They will definitely last you a long time. They are very eye pleasing and have a beautiful tone. The best thing is depending on how hard the wind is blowing you get a different tone. Overall I am very pleased and would definitely recommend them.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

First, the clear wrapped black box the chimes arrived in was surprisingly impressive. Inside the box, the plastic wrapped chimes were additionally wrapped in white tissue paper. This (and the box) really surprised me. Although I bought the chimes for my own use, I also thought that these would make a perfect (and impressive) future gift for someone. Previous chimes I've bought from manufacturers oversees tend to be cheaply packaged--if packaged at all. Second, the chimes make a delightful sound. They also chime easily in the slightest breeze, which is something I really appreciate. I have chimes that seldom chime except in the most strong, harsh wind. So, these were a pleasant change. All in all I really am pleased with this purchase and impressed with the care (and pride) the company must have for its product. Well, done.

Better than expected. Outstanding quality. Even the box!Update: So we bought this in May and now in September, it's in pieces. Thought at first it was just broken in half and was taking it down to figure out how to fix it when it just fell apart in my hand.10.25.17 UPDATE: Changed review to 3 stars as they replaced my chime. This time I'm spraying it with a clear glaze to protect the wood. Let's see how long it lasts this time!

I hung this wind chime outside to help scare some pigeons that would land on my roof. The sound is absolutely beautiful and while the birds do return at times, they typically fly off once they hear the chimes start ringing.They've been up for at least 2 years now and they still look and sound as great as they did when I received them. Affordable set of wind chimes and they are an absolute great buy!

An Outstanding and Well-built product! Sturdy and built-to-last! I could not put it down after unpacking!Holding the Chimes with one fingure through the circular support ring at the top, I need only twist the ring 1/4 turn... and the Chimes 🎵 began 🎶 to sing and reverbrate 🎵 with deep harmonizing tones... throughout my home... 🎶 as if I were in a spiritual environment! Gosh!And it L👀ks magnificent also! I got the cherry / gold.I could not be happier!!! With this product!!! The sound of these chimes is most Zen-like...so soothing. It comes beautifully packaged, perfect for gift-giving. It's big and impressive...but definitely the sound of these chimes is the most amazing...LOVE THEM!!!UPDATE: My chimes still look good, albeit, a little grimy as it's rained a lot this winter and I haven't cleaned them, but overall, pretty good! The wood has weathered quite a bit being in full sunlight most of the time but the sound of the chimes is still amazing...in fact, I just went and bought a large-sized one for the other side of the house in black. I have never heard wind chimes that sound as nice as these!
