absolutely beautiful kit. If you are a fan the Red Frame Astray, this is a must have variant. Pay attention to the directions and pieces. Most of the inner frame pieces are under gated especially the torso. One of the only kits I have ordered from Amazon that was shipped in an additional package for safety, must are delivered with no additional packaging what so ever. This is greatly apprecitated.

Excellent very sturdy

The plastic is very heavy. From experience the abs will also melt from acetone, it's a good handicap for teardowns and bending parts. It's smaller than I thought it would be at this scale. Comes in very clear and the molds are done perfect. The instructions are the best I seen so far at my highest MG level. I just wouldn't recommend cutting the parts out of number order before assembly in each step. Because unless you have a close careful eye they can actually be mixed with other very close to identical parts. Of course there are also different views that help identify the direction in an entire 360 view. At first I thought I would be burdened with cosmetic armor pieces that attach very loose, but now I think it would be easier to paint the frame even after assembly. I just don't like painting and it's difficult to get a good metallic glow and reflection. This build is extremely difficult in my opinion. Every limb out of 12 is like an entire model airplane assembly. I haven't done this in a while and this model is very clean with every edge fitting in perfectly. There aren't many gaps and even the hollow parts show details inside. I'm really enjoying this. Thanks. As always comes with some extra parts in the kit. The box is huge the number of parts is insane! One thing extra about the product review that I wanted to add is a new photo and the Amuro Ray personality. Spoiler alert there are a lot of complaints about the arms attachments very loose.

Pretty bad ass overall. Simple to build, and the double swords make it easier to balance than some of the other Astrays oddly enough. Comes with a ton of extra decals too, if you're into that sort of thing. This one is nice too in that all of the instructions are fully translated into English, so I've actually taken to using the build guide as a pseudo translator for older models. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Good kit...just never ship with a box

Excellent model kit but it is definitely not for beginners and also it has a lot of intricate parts that need to be put together an exact way. So I would suggest to take your time and have a lot of experience building simpler Gundams. The astray turn red is technically three different astrays to make one model kit but the end result is amazing.
