Both a primer and a reminder
I've seen more adults behaving badly online than kids, so I think this is a must-read for all ages. Even folks who are very "social savvy" might find a tip or two. The book is written by a person who very well knows the horrible damage that can be done if you're not careful online. Whether you've already encountered a problem and need to fix it, or you're just starting out and need to learn how to manage your reputation from the start, this book can help. Some might read it and say "well, it's common sense". For the most part, I've found that "common" sense is very rarely "common".This book will also help you understand that it's not just Facebook, Twitter, etc. that need to be considered. There's a social dynamic to many/most things we do online (even Amazon reviews!) and the book helps illustrate that. For someone that may have experienced bullying or reputation harm online, the book has plenty of good examples presented in a compassionate way, so you will know you aren't alone.A very easy book to read. Perhaps geared to teens but truly suitable for all ages.

Great for every parent and high schooler!
I thought this book was great for pulling all the problems with your online reputation together and giving you some tools for managing it. We've all said these things in pieces to our kids but this really connects everything together and lays out the consequences. More importantly it teaches that we all have a responsibility to manage and control our online reputation, starting in high school but continuing through adulthood.

A must for every high school teacher, counselor, parent and student!
This book is a great start to establish an educational program, conduct code or simple set of rules regarding digital citizenship in your school, classroom, home or to yourself. It offers real life examples on many subjects, including cyberbulling, reflecting on what is going on, the consequences of words and actions, and what can be done to achieve a responsible online behavior.

Redundant
I felt like every other chapter was virtually the same information. Will never get the time I spent reading this book back.

What every person should read! It is not a difficult read and it presents some really interesting situations which people face and can face without a knowledge of what the internet can do to a person's life. This book is especially applicable to both the young people and their parents who need to keep informed about what their kids are dealing with and how it may affect them.
