What an absolute waste of money. I've got a selection of digital thermometers indoors and outdoors including a weather station. I wanted an analogue thermometer to give me an accurate benchmark. I thought I'd start with something plain and simple from Thermometer World. I didn't expect it to be so inacurate. Absolute rubbish.Average reading across my thermometers and internet weather sites was 13⁰c difference. How can you sell a thermometer that's out by 50% ?

I ordered this item to keep tabs on the general temperature in my greenhouse and then compare with various window sills in the house. The scale goes as high as 50 centigrade. Sorry, but there is NO WAY that my living room window sill is 33 centigrade at midnight. Maybe I was unlucky and got a bad un, but I reckon Ill just save a bit and get something electronic when I can, which I reccomend if your trying to save money in the long run. Good thing is that since I hung it outside when Id finished despairing at the obviously innaccurate readings, its around 27 degrees every single dayday, which is nice but not true.

Bought to use outside, where it rests against a wooden post. Best day of the year so far showed temp as 45 centigrade (it was about 30 in reality). Perhaps if used indirectly it would be accurate but given its price, it's hardly worth returning. Initially when setting up, the thermometer tube came out of the housing, so it is definitely not robust. In all, it is cheap and a little nasty but then I didn't want to pay much more.

Purchased this thermometer for the green house on a cold day was reading 30c on a sunny day was reading 30c put it in the fridge for an hour went down to 20c if you want a thermometer that works don’t buy this one

Bought 2 - one is faulted. One shows correct temps all the time, one said it was 115 degrees and when my other digital greenhouse thermometer said 71 degrees. Nothing is broken it's just one is not showing correct temps.

Good for the money but sadly I dropped it on the 2nd day and it broke. Might be a bit flimsy - you need to put it out of reach and secure it well!

I would say up to 70 years old adult friendly thermometer.Works fine - green&black to blue contrast helps in discerning the correct temperature reading.
