Beautiful Timepiece and Seiko Quality! Black dial with White hands - the contrast makes the Watch very easy to read. The date is a little difficult to read but if you rotate to the correct angle it becomes legible. Very accurate and NATO Strap is attractive - making the Chrono hands stand out.I own several Seiko Watches in my Collection - this is my first SEIKO Solar. I set the watch with my a Bulova Lunar Pilot (262 kHz movement) and it is very accurate. I also purchased a black Crocodile strap to give a more formal look and can change with the quick change spring bar feature.I note that a comment was made there are no 21 mm straps I had no problems finding beautiful dress straps on Amazon. Numerous vendors provide any width of strap you require. Every supplier I reviewed gave the ability to choose the width and some the length.This Timepiece met and exceeded my expectations! Great Value for the Price! Very Pleased with this SEIKO! Expect to have many Years of Enjoyment!

Beautiful watch. Very sharp in the wrist and has great presence. Very reminiscent of 70’s Orfina and Tutima racing chronos. The date window is minuscule and is hard to read for folks without 20/20 vision. Not a biggie, but one caveat is the pushers are very easy to accidentally engage as they dont have click detents.

I was looking for a casual, daily wear watch that needs minimal maintenance. I have a mechanical automatic, but it can be a pain to reset the time when I don't wear it for a few days. Also, I wanted to get a watch that I don't have to worry about losing or damaging in the outdoors.The SSC669 is a great watch but it has a major flaw as some other reviewers have noted. Here's my take.PROS:-Solar automatic, so no need to replace a battery or wind it-Very clean, symmetrical layout-Black bezel is very sleek looking-Black hardware on the NATO strap also looks very nice and is durable-Skelontinized hands are coolCONS:-The biggest flaw is the date window. The date dial is submerged so deeply that is illegible. You need to really squint at it and view it in perfect lighting conditions to accurately read the date. It would have been better if they just removed the date function completely as it's for the most part useless.-The orange strip on the NATO strap looks cool, for about 2 seconds. It makes the band pop. But it's a bit loud, doesn't match well with anything, and makes the watch look kid-like. I ordered a solid colored, navy NATO strap from a third-party to see if it pairs better. Seiko should sell high-quality, Seiko branded NATO straps so you can pair different colors. This would be a great opportunity for customization and branding.-The NATO strap is low quality. I've only had the watch for about a month and the hole where I insert the buckle tongue is already stretched and deformed. The material between the holes is starting to fray. I feel that it will only be a matter of time before the strap wears through completely.

This watch is a great combination of looks, functionality, accuracy all for a very reasonable price. And backed by the reputation of one of the best watch manufacturers. Very happy with this purchase.

Good looking time piece, the date window is recessed and small. It makes it difficult to read. I am still undecided about the band, I like the looks, but I am used to a metal band... I'll give it some time.

I was looking for a solid all around good watch that looks good for dress, work and especially for going to a Formula 1 Race wearing my orange shirt & cheering for the Flying Dutchman - Max Verstappen! Its stylish & tough and I can wear it swimming. Very satisfied.

The delivery was early. No scratches or tool marks during manufacture. Perfect finish. Put watch in the sun to bolster the charge. Works perfectly. Easy to set and read. An excellent value for the price.

The watch arrived with the crystal chipped, no warranty info, and rub marks around the band that looks like it's been worn already.

Aun cuando lo compre en remates de almacen, venia muy bien cuidado, aunque en reviews he visto que trea una correa de piel extra, no lo traia, no se si sea normal o si es que falto, es ligeramente pesado, no es algo exagerado, la vdd es que a mi me gusta, se ve muuy bonito, siento que esta un poco caro, pero pues es solar espero dure al menos unos 4 años xD para que desquite la inversion. recomendado

I was elated to find this watch amongst the Amazon warehouse deals. I picked it up for less than it's lowest price, and couldn't be happier. The listing claimed there was some damage, and I can find none. It came well packaged, although not in its original box, and was otherwise in excellent shape. I do highly recommend the repackaged warehouse deals. It's a great way to save a little bit of money.As for the watch, it's fantastic. I have smaller wrists, and it's sized perfectly for me. The Nato strap is very comfortable. Lum works very well for night viewing. So far the watch has kept accurate time. Being a Seiko, I expect this one will last me quite a while.
