Best Live Traps I've Found in a Long Time (Few Tips Included Below)
Living in the country always results in Mouse Invasion, especially August through November. I thought there were just a couple in my place, but with these traps I caught almost 20 in a week and a half! A couple deer mouse mothers and their kids, and then a few white-footed mice. These are a really good design, and I have tried all sorts of humane traps over the years. The release door on the back can be a little tricky, but has to be, really. Mice are smart! The door that drops down when triggered makes a loud enough sound that you can hear it in the next room, but I haven't had any issues with tails getting caught and injured. These traps are sufficiently long even for the bigger white-footed mice. They must be checked often, though. There are air holes, but they're small, and it gets pretty foggy and warm in there and the mice can get thirsty. So don't forget!I've gone through the mice-capture bit every year, and it can actually be fun. It helps to have a terrarium standing by with a metal mesh lid and some clips. Mice can jump and chew, of course. If you're serious about doing this right and kindly, have a mouse water bottle standing by, some shavings maybe, cotton balls for them to make a bed. If you catch an adult female, chances are she has some kids around who will come looking for her, so you may want to keep Mama around a couple days until you manage to catch the 4-5 little ones. Have to collect them all! It's sweet when you see the reunion take place. The little deer mice are so incredibly cute. :)Be aware that if you catch an adult male he must NOT be put with any other mouse, or tragedy will ensue. Also, don't put deer mice (smaller grey-ish-brown and white mice) with white-footed mice (larger, and more light brown and white).Deer mice may be OK just releasing in the woods nearby -- I haven't often had them return -- but white-footed mice need to be driven a couple miles away or they may come back. Release near tall grass so they can hide. <3

Really works
This trap works incredibly well. Our cat brought a pregnant mouse in who had babies in the house. I knew they were often of the kitchen drawer because of droppings, so set one trap every day and caught a mouse every day. I would have given this product 5 stars, except that on a couple of occasions the mouse was able to chew his way out, thus ruining the trap. Luckily I had two of them. I think we caught 15 mice in all.

They work
I've used other traps that appear similar in appearance to these traps, except for one big difference -- the other traps were extremely easy for the unhappy occupant to disable. These traps are easy to use. I don't have to worry about a rodent version of Houdini chewing his way through the latching mechanism. I like them because they fit into smaller areas. Ordering more of these because spring is around the corner and that means a rodent explosion.

BEST Mouse trap on the planet
I live in NYC in and apt. The neighbors moved out, which means, we got mice in the middle of winter. Bad.I bought SO MANY MICE TRAPS. All humane bc I have no desire to clean up dead mice. This one was the best BY FAR.In a single week, I caught 5 mice. All from this trap. All the traps were set using peanut butter. This is the only one that caught things. All of the mice were deposited in a park several blocks away from my place to live out their happy little mice lives (or get eaten by the birds in the park, but I'm going with happy little mice live). Better news, we don't have mice anymore.Anyway, if you are looking for good traps, this is the one!

Works great!
Super! The mice have not been able to chew or damage the mechanism. This allows you to reuse the trap. The mice destroyed both traps I had that were a different style.

These things work!
We ended up with a couple of deer mice who got into our house because someone removed the door sweep under the garage to patio door and then left the kitchen to garage door open one night. We caught both mice in 2 days and released them in a field far from our house.

Works great!
We caught 11 mice in 2 days with some peanut butter. Very humane but be sure to release them in a timely manner, as there’s not a lot of air in there.
