We live in an older home, so the insulation isn't the greatest. Usually, I enjoy a cool room for sleeping, but there are those nights when it dips below freezing that it is nice to climb into a warm bed. Plus being older there are nights when the bones want a little warmth. This mattress pad fit out queen sized bed well, and once under the sheets you won't even know it's there. (except for the warmth it generates!) What is really nice is the dual controls. My wife likes things a lot warmer than I do, but with the dual controls we can each select our comfort level. There are 9 heat settings (personally, I've never gone past 5...it's quite warm) and there is also a timer for 1-9 hours of time. I usually just set it for an hour, to pre warm the bed. Its quick too, I will usually turn it on then go do my pre sleep routine (brush teeth, etc..) and by the time I get into bed, it's up to temperature.We really like this product and have tried it for about 4 months so far without any issues.

Fits easily on my bed. Heats up without burning which is good to take the chill off. I put it on my guest bed because I like a cold house. Some cushion but not enough to write home about.

I love heated mattress pads. I always had one as a kid growing up and as an adult I have had a few. They can be a pricey luxury but well worth it.I typically set mine at 3 and for 1 hour. It’s enough to get me nice and warm where I fall asleep but do not roast all night long. The timer feature is nice for that reason. Especially, if you normally get hot sleeping.The controllers do seem kind of chinsy for my liking. They just give off the appearance of a lower quality plastic, function, etc. Most importantly, they do work despite my personal preference of them looking cheaper.Having the two controls for each side of the bed is nice. The other half hasn’t even used their side yet and probably loves when my side turns off. :) I have turned the other side on to make sure it is working and functioning properly and it is.I put this on my mattress over the mattress pad but under the waterproof mattress protector. Despite the thickness of the protector, I can feel the heat come through just fine.Washing did not seem to bother the product at all. I placed inside a mesh laundry bag and washed on delicate. Product states not to use bleach, so I won’t. That is also a reason to have this product under a waterproof mattress protector.10/10 recommend for usability, reliability, comfort, warmth, and ease of individualized settings. Would make a great gift for many people.

I'll start with the downside because the list is short and they are tiny annoyances.--The number display doesn't turn off or dim so it's very bright. If you are sensitive to light at night you need to turn it upside down.--You can't adjust it up and down, just up, so if you miss the level you want you have to go all the way up to 9 for it to start at 1 again.Everything else is great!I turned it up to 9 on the first use just to see how hot it gets. Pretty darn warm! For sleeping I never need to go over 3 in general but I live in the south. My body temp is schizophrenic during the night so I love that one side can stay off if I want. That way I can move my feet to the cold side instead of kicking off the covers.==It was easy to put on. I have a very thick Purple mattress and it fits perfectly.==The wires are barely noticeable.==The heat doesn't extend to the very edges but that's OK for me.==The plug is at the top which I thought was strange but it's covered by my gap pillow and doesn't bother my sleep.==The cords are fairly long so there is room to put the controller wherever you need.I would definitely recommend.

We'll start with the good:This heated mattress pad fits the mattress well, heats up quick, and can get very hot. We used it at only the 1, 2, or 3 settings (out of 9) as that was hot enough for us. It was very easy to use, once you understand that one number is the heat setting, and the other is number of hours it will run for before automatically shutting off. For our queen size mattress, it comes with two controllers that each need to be plugged into an outlet.Then we have the bad:The cords and the controllers is where this product falls short. The length of cord from the mattress pad connection (at the foot of the bed) is not long enough for the controller to reach the head of the bed, or a night stand. So you will have the controllers resting about midway along each side of the bed (see my photo). This section of cord cannot be extended (without electrical work), and this is a significant drawback in my opinion. Previous heated mattress pads we have had from different companies all had plenty of cord length so that you can leave the controller on your night stand up by the head of the bed.Also, I did notice with this one, that long edge of the bed, did not get hot. As if the heating coils do not extend to the edges of the mattress. This was also a frustration for me, as I would like the entire top face of the mattress to be warm, and not have a cold border/edge.Overall:In general, the controller location due to the cord length is a deal breaker for me. And that's the reason for low review.

keeps bed nice and warm without being too hot

i absolutely hate using my heater at night because it dries out my skin, but i just get so cold. I was nervous that the cover would take away from my comfortable mattress but I couldn't even tell it was on. It was SOO easy to use and i could instantly feel the heat coming out. Just a little went a long way. now i turn it on before getting into bed and its nice an prewarmed for me. I honestly, like this better than the electric blankets I have. I feel like it keeps me warmer longer without getting too hot like the blanket. Definitely A MUST HAVE

Our teenager has been going through some growing pains and using a heating pad recently. They were finding some comfort using a heated blanket, but with being a restless type sleeper, they'll wake up unplugged. This has been the best of everything wrapped in one. No issues to report with good fit and quality.
