Valve Steam Deck OLED 1TB Handheld Gaming Console

Best thing I've ever owned. I've played for 60 hours and I only got it last week. Even games that say they're not optimized for it work amazingly. I've been playing Starfield despite it not being recommended, and it hasn't frozen once. Amazing tech

This was the best purchase I've ever made towards my entertainment. Having been a religious gamer back in the day and now not playing much games pretty much at all anymore, getting a steam deck revived that passion for me. This one here on Amazon shipped perfectly, everything works as expected, if not better. The OLED makes everything pop, and just the system capabilities. I was able to turn it into a retro gaming machine, playing games across all dofferent consoles like GBA, PSP, PS1 and 2, Super Nintendo, you name it. I even bought a docking station and can connect it to my TV and play with an Xbox elite controller through the TV. Steam is the next generation for sure. Ditch the Switch

I got the Valve Steam Deck for my husband as a Christmas gift and it was honestly the BEST gift ever. He has barely put it down since he opened it! It’s super durable, feels really high quality, and the battery lasts a long time, which makes it perfect for playing anywhere. What we love most is that there are so many games you can play and so many possibilities with it. It’s basically like having a full gaming setup in your hands. He takes it everywhere and is constantly discovering new games to play. If you’re thinking about getting this for someone who loves gaming, 100% do it!!!!! totally worth it! He’s about to get me one!! we LOVE IT SO MUCH

Absolutely love the Steam Deck. Valve has made it incredibly easy to use out of the box. Within a few mins of logging into my Steam account I was playing games. I predominately bought the deck to play some of the titles from my massive Steam backlog. I haven't found the Switch to be a satisfying enough experience to repurchase some of the titles in my backlog on Steam, so I bit the bullet and bought a Deck. It did not disappoint. It easily blows the Switch out of the water. The screen is much larger, the device itself is more powerful. If you've been a PC gamer, you already have a ton of games you can play on it. Steam already has it set up to tell you which games in your library, and the Steam store, work perfectly with the Deck without any configuration. They also let you know which ones work but either require some configuration, or have other minor quirks that don't provide a perfect experience, and which ones they don't currently recommend at all. I will tell you there is a fantastic 3rd party site called ProtonDB that is crowd sourced and gives you a bit more details on the ones that Steam doesn't recommend. I've found a number of titles Steam has listed as not recommended work just fine as is, or with some minor tweaks to settings or controller layout. If you are a little more tech savvy, you aren't just limited to your Steam library. The Deck includes a number of applications in its desktop mode that allows you to link your GoG.com, Epic, and Amazon games library without much effort. They can all be played from desktop mode on the device, or with a little more effort they can be added to the default "games mode" albeit without artwork that a Steam title would show, etc. The device is also made to be user upgradable, meaning if you are comfortable opening the device you can swap out the Hard Drive for one with more storage, replace the control sticks, etc. If you aren't that comfortable, you can always expand storage by way of microSD cards. I can't recommend this device enough. My only complaint is the price on Amazon. If you can, I highly recommend purchasing directly through Valve/Steam. I ordered through Amazon mainly because I wanted the device to arrive in time for a business trip I was taking, and wound up paying nearly $200 over the direct from Valve price for that privilege.

Es una consola muy potente y personalizable con una comunidad que siempre la está mejorando. Ideal para juegos modernos, retro e incluso algunos juegos triple A actuales. Aunque hay opciones mas potentes en el mercado hoy en día, la steam deck se gana su lugar al ser totalmente customizable, poseer una comunidad muy activa y ser compatible con varios juegos de PC. Ideal para quienes quieren personalizar su experiencia y tener toda su biblioteca en un mismo ambiente. En cuanto a ergonomía, se siente cómoda al tacto especialmente en sesiones largas. La distribución de botones se siente rara al inicio pero es cuestion de costumbre. Lo mismo ocurre con los trackpads, que dan un plus tremendo en juegos dependientes de apuntar de forma más precisa. Un unico punto negativo podría ser que la bateria dura poco si se juega juegos muy demandantes (normal en un aparato portátil). Pero con juegos livianos puede durar incluso mas de 4 horas. Lo recomiendo mucho, me ha gustado mucho. Es un gran complemento para quienes buscan tener su biblioteca en todas partes.

La batería se murió porque sí, eso que tengo estabilizador de tensión y toda la consola cuidada, la tuve que devolver, Amazon se lavó las manos y encima me hicieron pagar la devolución y ni siquiera me devolvieron toda la plata del envío y se robaron mi dinero del protecto de JSAUX con el que envié la consola, VALVE se lavó las manos también diciendo LITERALMENTE que por más que lo compré hace 3 meses en su momento, NO TENÍA GARANTÍA DE FÁBRICA! Estaba por emigrar y tuve que cancelar de migrar de continente porque este iba a ser mi dispositivo único para trabajar y jugar, encima soporte un DESASTRE CON MAYÚSCULAS, 4 HORAS DE LUNES A LUNES DURANTE 90 DÍAS PELEANDO y siempre recibiendo información ambigua, falsa y errónea y contra las leyes del consumidor tanto de USA, como de Argentina como internacionalmente, los tuve que denunciar en USA, la amo a la consola PERO FUE UN DESASTRE, además de que yo no pude devolverla a penas me llegó porque la necesitaba pero lejos de corregirse los errores, empeoraron! Encima soporte prometió darme 3 semanas para que yo vaciara los datos de mi consola y la envíe y no me dieron ni 7 días después! Son de terror, fue la peor experiencia de compra de TODA MI VIDA. No creo para nada que Valve Index tenga la culpa sinó VALVE (Original) y Amazon, sólo que no se bien usar Amazon y no supe cómo contactar con el vendedor.

Une super console portable et compatible avec Linux et pas besoin de racheter ces jeux . Je met 3 étoiles car il faut quand même des accessoires dont un ventilateur pour aider le Steam deck a pas surchauffé. Qui est dû au manque de puissance du ventilateur de bases intégré .

Simplemente maravillosa, la batería le dura hasta 8 horas continuas con algunos juegos no tan exigentes, otros juegos más exigentes permiten jugar hasta por 2 a tres horas. La consola va muy bien, adoro la función de suspender a media partida, y poder continuar en cualquier momento justo donde lo dejaste. También si se te daña algún componente o la consola, Valve ofrece gran soporte directo, o bien, tienen alianza con iFixIt para que te reparen o te vendan las partes, y tienen infinidad de guías para repararla por uno mismo. También en la comunidad existen mods para poderla personalizar a tu gusto y medida. Hay otras consolas más potentes, pero la comunidad de la Steam Deck no tiene comparación. ¿Me la volvería a comprar? Si, sin dudarlo.

Excelente aquisição. Roda grande parte dos jogos do Steam sem necessidade de configuração. O próprio dispositivo indica quais jogos rodam sem necessidade de configuração.

Product didn’t work. I was so excited to get one of these, wanted it for years. But when I did it didn’t work, couldn’t get the thing to setup at all. So it returned it ( in perfect condition I might add) however due to ‘internal conditions’ not being the same as when the device was dispatched (as if I could control that) I’m still expected the pay £190 instead of getting a full refund. Maybe it was bad luck on my end but with the amount of money I paid it’s not worth the risk.
