I've only had the mirror for a few days, and honestly, I'm a makeup mirror newbie, but ... my initial impression is that the mirror is a nice quality. It looks attractive on my bathroom counter. It has a good weight. It's not solid metal, but it has a solid base. The metal seems to be of a reasonable quality for the price, though I am curious how it will age/wear being in a bathroom with ongoing moisture. The 10x magnification takes a little practice to use effectively. (Be prepared. You'll see A LOT -- ha, ha, maybe more than you really want.) I like that the mirror can be powered by batteries (4AA) or by wall plug in. My one change ... I'd like the LED lights to be "daylight or white" color. I'm pretty sure they're typical "yellow" color, which doesn't give as true a view as daylight. (If you're wondering ... when I say "yellow," I'm saying the color of regular, cheap, normal light bulbs. I assume that's "yellow.")UPDATEI've had the mirror for almost 3 years now, and I've changed my review (after 1 year) from 4-stars to 5-stars. Initially, I was a little cautious since I'd only had the mirror for a couple of weeks, but now I can confidentally say ... yup, it's good a mirror. I definitely recommend it. It's been in my bathroom continuously since I purchased it, and the metal hasn't rusted/oxidized. It still looks good. I've only used the plugin (not the batteries) and that's been fine. Also, the lights are still bright. :)

I absolutely love this makeup mirror! I previously had a similar 10x lighted mirror from Costco, but the lights started going out after a year, so it was too dim to be useful. I bought another mirror on Amazon as a replacement, but didn't realize it was only 5x (and it's huge in size). After about three months, I thought I must be going blind because I couldn't see things as well as I had in my Costco mirror. I went back to my orders and realized it was only a 5x! That just doesn't work for my purposes. I'm 65, and I need to see the weird little hairs that have taken up residence on my face.Then I found this gem of a mirror, MIRRORMORE Professional 7.5" Lighted Makeup Mirror. I love the strong light, and the 10x magnification is crystal clear. I can see stuff that I couldn't see with the 5x. At first I thought the 7.5 inches was too small, because my previous mirrors were much larger. However, I really like the more compact size. It looks very nice on my makeup table, and takes up less space. When I use it, I'm usually only looking at a small area anyway. The non-magnifying side shows your whole face. In addition, I have a large mirror attached to my makeup table. One other thing that's great, is the plug on my other one (Vesaur) kept coming unplugged. With the Mirrormore mirror, it's very firmly plugged in and I haven't had that problem.Lastly, the price is amazing. I spent a lot more on my other two mirrors, even my Costco mirror cost more.I highly recommend this mirror. It's the best of bunch!

The mirror has a sleek finish and is very solidly built. The lights are bright enough so that you can see everything. I have a dimly light room that I use this in and the light helps significantly. However, it would not be sufficient light if it were used in a dark room. The mirror swivels from regular view to a 10X view and both sides are well lit. I find that the 10X magnification is a little bit distorted and and takes some getting used to. I’ve never used a magnifying mirror that strong before, but once my eyes finally focus in, then I can see just fine...just be prepared to contort your head/neck and get a little dizzy (at least if you wear bifocals) :) Don’t get me wrong, there isn’t a defect with the magnification...more so a 40+ year old eyesight defect! :) The non-magnified side is sufficient enough to see one’s face, but not in a close range (remember I wear bifocals which are +1.50 and need to be closer to apply make-up lol). I think an oval mirror would be a little better. Overall the size is moderately sufficient and doesn’t take up too. Much space on the vanity. It also doesn’t feel like it would fall off very easily like a lot of other plastic models. Very solid!!!I like that the switch is a flip switch and not a toggle/twist switch. The plug is a 6 foot plug that easily reaches most plugins in homes today (which are 6-8 feet apart). I like the option of having a battery backup for those times when I need to be mobile (requires 4 AA batteries). That way I don’t have to dig the plug out from behind my dressing vanity.It came very well packaged and I’ve saved the box to transport it when I need to. It comes with foam wedges that wrap it snuggly in the box.

Heavy and great size. Should last a long time. Very pleased. Have been using it for several months

I had been shopping around on Amazon looking for a lighted mirror for a while, the features sounded great so thought I'd give this one a try and WOW this exceeded my expectations. I love nothing more than sitting at my kitchen table applying my makeup and this is EVERYTHING. The lighting options are amazing (I love the soft white) and the magnification is magical, I can see way more than I'd want to LOL but for makeup application on your eyes/brows it's fantastic.I am using batteries for this so it makes it more portable than using the plug. The plug works well but not enough length.Overall I give this a 10+ if you're looking for a lighted mirror and don't want to spend a small fortune this is the ONE, I highly recommend!

Lightning is good, mirror only turns a limited direction, mirror broke the day I got it.

Nice large mirror with 3 lighting settings. I like the 10x that is full size. Must have for eye makeup!

I love this mirror. I like the three different light settings. You can see very clearly. The mirror rotation is good. I also like the fact that you can dim the light to the brightness you want. No regrets here so far.

The media could not be loaded. This mirror is amazing! The brightness is perfect exactly what I’ve been looking for. I showed the mirror brightness compared to my old mirror and this one is a winner! The light settings are perfect the brightness is amazing. Defiantly recommend this mirror. I was having issues with not being able to do my makeup because the light wasn’t bright enough but this mirror is perfect for that.
