What to say???? Absorbency (initially) is not great; but improves with multiple washings. Design is muted and colors are very nice. This is one of the non-ratty ones that I use when company arrives. :)

Great towels! Well made and durable. Unfortunately due to higher prices I won't be buying them anymore.

These towels remain an obsession. I can’t help it. They are some of the most exquisite textiles you’ll find anywhere, with colors to gladden the eye and make even kitchen work more pleasant. Initially they are a bit pricey. But these are LARGE towels, 22 x 30 inches, and of the highest quality. I would expect any of them to last from ten to fifteen years. Any of them is suitable to frame as a piece of fabric art. If you possibly can, buy these towels!

I decided to order new kitchen towels. I inherited my in-laws towels when my husband and I took possession of their house and contents. Finally getting tired of each towel having being worn out. I loved them because it was what they used, but it was time. I found these towels and loved them. Upon receipt. They are prettier than the picture. My one disappointment: I did not order more!! Do I really have to use them now to dry the dishes too! I would not be embarrassed to give these as gifts too! Housewarming, wedding, showers, etc. they are great quality. I washed them and they didn't shrink. I did use them too. They dried perfectly. I am pleased and proud to have these. I will be back! Yes, they are pricey but its the old saying. You get what you pay for. I may even say this. I don't mind doing dishes now!!

These last forever! Quality of fabric and graphics are an art form.

Great towel and very decorative. Be advised that it will shrink about three (3) inches in the length and one (1) inch in the width. Not an issue since it is already twice the size of any kitchen towel I've ever had. I love it!

We have been using their tea towels for decades. The style, colors and variety are enchanting. They work extremely well, and they make a wonderful gift. A company that has been around since 1833 must be doing a lot of things right.

These towels are beautiful, but they shrink way way more than any cotton towel I’ve ever purchased. They are also 30 % thinner and less well finished than the same brand of towel my niece has, but which she bought 5 plus years ago. I planned to take a photo to show just how much these towels shrink, but they got washed before I was able. They shrunk three inches from top to bottom and two inches from side to side. I was given the option of returning for a refund or having them replaced (I bought 12 of them), but I designed and purchased many other kitchen items (rug, pot holders, etc.) that coordinate with them and it’s just too much trouble to start from scratch.

Der hohe Preis rechtfertigt sich durch die gute Stoffqualität, die Farbechtheit und die Langlebigkeit. Hab solche Tücher schon seit Jahren, die sind immer noch top.
