Beware of buying from GMfashion uk. One of the pairs had the tags missing, cardboard torn off, and was refolded clumsily, showing that this third pair had been tried on. I returned them all and got a refund but no refund despite arguing my case with them regarding the return postage which was 3 pounds. So I am out of pocket by £3. I leave you to make up your mind who was at fault.

I bought these as I wanted some brown socks that could fit my badly swollen feet and legs as a result of type 2 diabetes. They were ok though a bit think. The light brown sock is nicely stretchy and will probably be ok, even though they are not as long as I was hoping they would be. The dark brown socks are not stretchy enough and have a hard and tight top that will definitely bite into my calves if I try to pull them up much beyond just above my (swollen) ankles. So, I was a bit disappointed with them. I should point out that before my diabetes I took a size 9 but now even these are on the slightly small size.

Apart from the wrong colour being sent I'm quite pleased with these socks. Having swollen feet I needed a sock that does not cut into my legs, these fit the bill. Because they are a loose fit they sometimes creep down your foot when walking. For the price not a bad sock.

Gave them away to a friend with ' smaller ' feet. Socks are OK good quality etcSize wasn't the issue for me, rather that I'm a normalsize 10, but I have a one very very swollen ankle following numerous surgeries, so they were probably OK for someone who just had big feet.. but I couldn't get one over the lump over my poorly ankle, far too tight, when I needed far too loose.

I've held back reviewing till I'd worn and washed these. They are proving to be very good indeed and are unique - nowhere else can I find a large brown sock with a soft top. These are very stretchy and easily fit my size 12 feet. The ankles are not at all tight, yet do hold up.So far, I cannot fault them and hope they prove long-lasting. They should looking at them - they seem well constructed and are tough looking

This is my second order and I copy my first review. "At last socks that fit. I have size 12 feet, but had problems with swollen ankles/lower calves probably due to Type 2 Diabetes. Normal socks no longer fitted. These fit so comfortably and although the swelling has gone, they are not loose.Brilliant. Will be ordering more soon."

Unfortunately these socks were not long enough , only coming half way up the leg and the tops cut into the legs. Not very comfortable I'm afraid for someone with swollen feet and legs.

They don't squash my legs like your average 9-11 sock. They do stay up OK ! Quite long in the leg and a bit thin for my walking boots but overall a success. Yet to see how they are after washing...
